Ok, so I decided to start watching the anime again (gee this sure is a shock I wonder why) and so I have a few questions. How much of impel down is worth watching? When exactly was the last time that the opening changed? Has there been any news of it changing any time soon?

I stopped watching shortly after the opening changed (I didn't stop because of the opening, by the way) and it feels as though I haven't been watching for some time, but the song is still the same. I mean, its not a bad song (in fact, without WOOO WOOO WOOO YAY it would be my favorite of the longer ones) but the fact that it's still on makes me feel like a junkie for whom days seem like months.

I quite enjoyed Impel Down. The anime adds fun little filler extras and the action scenes are nice and smoothly animated. If you've got the time, you're not going to lose anything by going over the old episodes.

I don't know the official answer about the OP, but it makes sense they'd be changing it up soon. The second half of it is heavily Impel Down focused with only a little bit on the beginning of the fight at the summit, so I'd figure we'll be getting a big ol' Whitebeard OP by the time we pass the introductions of the WB arc players.
