Meet your new favorite character. Discuss her.
That's not Zoro! That's not even Usopp or Franky! GET OUT OF HERE, YOU LIAR!
I wanna see porn of her.
>implying I didn't already like her before anyone else even noticed herGtfo, grandpa.
Dat blonde Boa
>>11559She can't help kicking puppies and kittens, she can't even see them.
Someone post screencaps of her.
Ah the token female member of the Giant Squad.Okay that sounds pretty negative but I also think it's cool to finally see a female giant.
She looks pretty boring, like a filler character. Which isn't surprising because the anime team probably designed her since we didn't even get a good look at her face in the manga
>>11569 What she looks like is a giant who is a woman, just because Oda designs a minor character doesn't instantly make them more interesting.
>>11570the carpenters of water seven would like to have a word with you.also the other giant captains that aren't female.
>>11582 ...What you mean like 'helmet giant' 'generic male giant' 'giant with afro' 'giant furry' etc?The Giant squad were not particularly interesting AT ALL.
>>11584>The Giant squad were not particularly interesting AT ALL.compared to the generic blonde girl, yes. And you can make anything sound uninteresting when summed up like that, "kid with straw hat, guy with curly brow, etc" except for Franky. He's just interesting on his own.
>>11559>Dat blonde Hinafix'dAlso, this thread got me thinking. Since Oda is super busy slamming his wife and planning One Piece why don't we come up with back stories for characters that haven't had a proper one?>Bon Clay came from a rich family and had the best of everything in life but no direction. As a child and into his teenage years he was very heavy. Children would often make fun of his weight and his feminine mannerisms.>Then one day he met a traveling troupe of okama and dancers. He spent all of his free time dancing and studying okama kenpo. Pretty soon he dropped the weight and perfected his form. He then went on teaching others what he had learned. He ended up traveling with the okama troupe and came across the mane mane no mi and would perform for large crowds. His performances soon attracted agents of Baroque Works that wanted to put his talents to use.
>>11586My version of his backstory is kind of like Karate Kid if Mr. Miyagi had been a drag king. I'll go into detail when I have the time.
>>11587Thanks for the new name.
I always assumed that Smoker was a dickheaded little punk and joined the Marines because he was one of those gritty urban kids that thought he could atone/make a difference by joining. Hina was the cute girl in the academy that kept him in. They are now some kind of platonic battle couple as a result. Also Daz Boness was an ex-CP9 trainee, forcibly kicked out at a young age and evaded capture since. Unlike most of the CP9 he grew up much more professional about his skills, seeing killing as strictly business that he's good at rather than being in the business to kill.

>>11596hmmm, been a long time since we've seen a chick get punched. Vivi was the last one, wasn't she?
>>11598iirc Kaimi got slapped by the auctioneer if that counts.
>>11598Also Spandam punched/slapped/kicked the shit out of Robin.
Aphelandra is the superior giantess.
>>11618 She isn't really a proper giant though is she? She's just an 'overgrown ant' like Franky's three dudes
>>11620Yeah, she's only about as big as Sandersonia. Relatively small ib comparison to others.>>11606>>11608Well, let me rephrase....this is the first time since Vivi that someone who is viewed as a hero has punched a woman.Spandam and the Auctioneer are villains, they're supposed to do dickish shit like beating on women. It's less common for a hero to slug a chick.
>>11622Usopp hitting Perona with the exploding balloon mallet didn't count, did it?
>>11624That\s kind of a grey area....the mallet didn't actually hurt her, it just caused her to faint in terror
>>11624 It was a balloon mallet...
>>11626Have you ever been hit with an over inflated tire before?
>>11627 Have you ever been hit with a novelty inflatable hammer before?
>>11627 >>11629I'm assuming that only one of you can say 'yes' to your respective questions. Either way, the implication was she was knocked out due to fear, and Usopp was using the hammer as a psychological weapon. So therefore, I think it shouldn't count.
>>11564>Someone post screencaps of her.Overdue, but here.
Behold. DAT GIANT ASS
