damn, maybe it's just me but I really wanted to see Sanji learn newkama kempou and do some of the spinning kick attacks that Bon Clay used to do

I miss Bon Clay ;_;

>> Zoro's confrontation with the nobles and saved his life
Uh dude, she only did that so her wouldn't go bringing an admiral down on HER head. She even got pissed off and said she would beat the crap out of the strawhats if she ran into them again because of what Luffy did causing trouble for her and everyone else.

And what do you mean 'saved his life'? He dodged the shot and was going to cut Charloss in half, do you mean she was saving him from the admiral? Not particularly, she was looking out for herself/her crew.

Don't forget what happened afterwards. She called Zoro an idiot for wanting to help a random injured civvie. Told him pirates don't help people like that.

Chopper trying to pull a Sogeking on the islanders was hands down the best part of the chapter. Other than that, good chapter, though I'm really excited to see the crew back together.

Blackbeard I am disappoint

And on another note, Oda needs to stop beating around the bush and just put a penis in Sanji's mouth. We all see it coming, it's no big deal.

Hopefully Sanji makes it through without Ivankov turning him into a her.

What will be the more common fangirl reaction?
Tears of Joy -or- Tears of Sorrow?

No.10541
Well, it's finally been settled: San Juan Wolf is not functioning as the Blackbeard Pirates' ship, they're still using the raft and Wolf just swims alongside it.

No.10542
>>10541
...which also confirms Wolf's not using a Devil Fruit, so I'd imagine he'd be just a brute force fighter. Not that he needs anything else, mind you.

No.10543
The boat the Marines brought along with them must be absolutly GIGANTIC if it's meant to comfortably carry him on proper voyages

No.10544
You know, Wolf acts kind of... not like you'd expect a fearsome pirate to act.

In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if he WASN'T a fearsome pirate. Would not put it past the WG to cart him off to ID for accidentally sitting on something of theirs. Poor Wolf...

No.10546
>>10543
Well, they had to get him to ID somehow, so they probably brought the boat they used for that.

No.10548
>>10546
I kind of figured they just chained him to the boat then tugged him along (planning to do the same this time). He seems to be fairly buoyant.

The bigger issues remains to be how the hell they got him inside Impel Down and to such a low level.

No.10549
Hey.

Wait a minute. If Bonnie is hiding her real age with her DF, couldn't she actually be an old woman?

Also, doesn't that technically make her immortal? (From natural causes at least)

No.10550
>>10549
That's been a pretty common theory in the fandom, yes.
Good a chance as anything else it could be true.

No.10551
>>10549
Yes, she could just as easily be older and look like a teenager because she likes acting young. By extension you could just as easily take >>10503 and figure Akainu being concerned about her to mean she's his wife, mother, etc. instead of his daughter.

>Also, doesn't that technically make her immortal? (From natural causes at least)
Depends on how it works. It could if it's semi-permanent (as in if she changes your age once but not back, you'll be that old and naturally age from that point on), but it may wear off after time or if she comes in contact with Seastone (in all likeliness that will be what reveals her true age if she's hiding it).

Either way though, she's a pirate on the Grand Line. Who lives to die of old age there?

No.10552

Beat, at most it's gonna be 4 issues. One for each of the two Strawhats.

That STILL puts us on track for reunion at 600, with one issue to spare.

Oars Jr was a fair bit taller than Oars

San Juan Wolf UTTERLY DWARFS Oars Jr!
SJW would be a walking/swimming ecological catastrophe, without even needing to fight

No.10561
maybe Wolf is just a simpleton, or clumsy or something. He certainly doesn't seem to be all that evil from what we've seen.

Being that large he could just accidentally knock out some marine ships or step on people or something.

No.10563

I really don't give a damn what the fangirls think, they already have more than enough.
What about making the fanboys happy?!

Making Bonnie a Noble run-away makes the most sense out of all the insane theories I've seen so far, since it seems we're going to start dealing with the Nobles a lot more from this point on, and they're becoming main players. Not to mention her story would mirror Sabo's up-until-now-completely-random-donkeyshit-introduction.

If you start bitching and crying because Sanji turns out to be queer I will laugh at you, fanboy

No.10569
I'm actually really enjoying this!

Fuck tha haters, I've been waiting for a Chopper upgrade ever since I started reading. He hasn't gotten a single boost in his entire existence--we've always known about the Rumble Ball, and Monster Point was more of a curse than a help before.

Also, supermedicine? I am intrigued!

No.10570
Speaking of Chopper... will he now learn to control his monster form?

No.10573
>>10570
Possibly. At the least he's trying to find a way to recover from it better so there are less drawbacks to using it.

No.10574

No.10584
Most likely upgrades (from my humble perspective):

* Zoro: Probably just some new sword techniques from fighting the mandrills.
* Nami: New tech for her Clima-Tact.
* Usopp: The only one I'm completely unsure of. New beetle-related weapons? New fighting style to incorporate fattitude? Search me.
* Sanji: I'll have to go with the majority here and say strengthened legs from running from the okamas. It looks as though he's hunting for new dishes to cook as well.
* Chopper: Again, majority wins. Controlling Monster Point. Increasing his medical skill would be good, but I doubt he'd get that from an island ruled by apparently nonsentient birds.
* Robin: No fighting powerup, rather, new information on the Void Century.
* Franky: Modify himself with Vegapunk tech.
* Brook: New musical fighting moves from the Longarms, maybe?

Well either that or he recovers completely.

>* Sanji: I'll have to go with the majority here and say strengthened legs from running from the okamas. It looks as though he's hunting for new dishes to cook as well.

They are Okama Kenpo masters and Sanji has to fight them to get the recipes, AKA in fighting super martial artist he himself will become a better super martial artist.

>* Chopper: Again, majority wins. Controlling Monster Point. Increasing his medical skill would be good, but I doubt he'd get that from an island ruled by apparently nonsentient birds.

The cavemen are actually VERY intelligent, it's just that the birds were fucking them up every other day till Chopper made peace on the island, now he has a huge library of books to study from.

And fanboys don't.

Wow it's almost like that's exactly what you fucking said. Also way to be! I think they give out awards for reading posts and correcting misplaced letters. Also for the use of !? by anyone not penning a young adult novel.

No.10606
deafeating the newkama masters to powerup is a little too boring and predictable. My guess? Ivankov will be the 100th master, and he'll manage to get the sanji in the dress, which unlocks his maiden heart like it did in the cover story. Then, he'll be able to use newkama kenpo. Will it make him stronger? maybe, Sanji beat Bon Clay, who was using the kenpo though.

No.10608
>>10606
Why would it matter if he managed to beat someone using it? Adding Newkama techniques to his own style could still make it stronger.

I really like that Chopper's island turned out to help him grow in diplomatic, social and now intellectual aspects.
I wonder if everyone else will use their respective islands to such great effect. Franky has to rebuild himself, but he didn't really learn any new behavior other than how to convert tea into soda through pure fighting spirit. Sanji's growth plan is obvious. Robin may just learn more about the revolutionaries and her end goal. Zoro may get some new skills from all of those awful beasts and Mihawk. Nami's getting some new tech and knowledge, but did she actually develop as a person? I think not. Usopp is getting closer to his manly dreams. Brook's plot is completely up in the air as far as I'm concerned. One of the Straw Hats will probably have to rescue him at some point. I also have a feeling Vivi is going to make her triumphant return and it will be great and everyone will love her forever.

Also you're all faggots. Shut the fuck up.

No.10761

Well, Usopp is a little crazy already (the whole Sogeking thing..). I bet the other guy he met on his island isn't actually real and it's just Usopp imagining how he'd like to behave.

No.10764
Someone's got a case of the Fight Club theory.

No.10773
>>10764

Most people tend to forget that he started talking to himself like actually unstable people would talk to themselves back in Thriller Bark, treating Sogeking as a totally different person. It's disturbingly more obvious in the anime, but he still does it in the manga.
