A retired school counselor claims police brutally assaulted her after she filmed baton-wielding officers beating a man on the street in Philadelphia.
Kimla Robinson, 47, used her cellphone to record the chaotic scene and show officers repeatedly attack victim Askia Sabur as he sat on the ground.
But she claims an officer angered at being caught on tape grabbed her ponytail and slammed her against a police cruiser.
He then allegedly pushed her into the back seat, smacking her forehead into the opposite-side car door.

Mrs Robinson was stunned to discover that she was being arrested for disorderly conduct.
‘I thought they were going to realise they made a mistake, but that never happened,’ she told the Philadelphia Daily News.
The former counselor said she begged for medical treatment because she was in so much pain after her arrest, but wasn’t taken to Mercy Philadelphia Hospital until the morning after the September 3 incident.
She was treated for severe back pain caused while in police custody, according to hospital records.

Police said Mrs Robinson was arrested because she refused to leave the scene of the melee outside a Chinese restaurant.
She was charged with aggravated assault and recklessly endangering another person for allegedly trying to kick an officer in the groin after he allegedly tried to prevent her using a key to unlock her handcuffs.
Mrs Robinson said her thumb was still sore from the cuffs and her right arm and thigh are bruised.
There was a national outcry after the footage of Mr Sabur’s beating surfaced on YouTube and was later shown on CNN. Philadelphia police chiefs suspended the officers involved and launched an investigation.

Sabur, a 29-year-old father-of-three, suffered a broken arm and needed stitches in the back of his head following the beating.
‘We want to ensure the public we’re going to do a quality investigation to obtain the truth,’ said the city’s deputy commissioner for the office of professional responsibility Stephen Johnson.
Mrs Robinson plans to press charges against the officer who arrested her and said she wants to testify for Mr Sabur.
According to the local newspaper, two officers being probed for the violent arrest of Mr Saburm - Donyule Williams and Jimmy Leocal – have faced a number of complaints in the past, but they have not been proven.
Officer Williams has had eight complaints, four alleging physical abuse, said the Daily News, while Officer Leocal has had six complaints against him, with four for physical abuse, including one by his wife.
