Apparently Adult Swim doesn't "still" have the rights to Baby Blues, they expired six years ago but then Adult Swim bought it back for some reason last year. So, while they haven't had the rights to Kikaider or Trigun for several years, they could buy them back.

I think the only anime that have ended which they still have the rights to are Cowboy Bebop, FLCL, The Big O, the first Fullmetal Alchemist series, both seasons of the Ghost in the Shell TV series, and Moribito (which is most likely just because it aired recently, and is not going to get renewed), and maybe Inuyasha.
