Between Sakura planning to kill Sasuke and Kakashi being Kakashi, this was a pretty awesome chapter.

Well, I don't hate this.
Talking with some friends, we see a few possible outcomes, mainly due to the fact that Naruto is headed there.(1) Sasuke delivers a killing blow to Kakashi as Naruto shows up, finally cementing Naruto's need to kill them.(2) Naruto shows up as Kakashi is about to deliver the killing blow to Sasuke, and gets in the way. This would keep the status quo intact.(3) Madara kills Kakashi as Kakashi attempts to land the killing blow on Sasuke, effectively making everything since bringing him back from the Pain fight worth jack-of-all-shit, because we already know Madara is a jerk and Sasuke still sits in "redemption range" from Naruto's perspective.(4) Ochimaru/Kabuto shows up and steals the weakened Sasuke, trolling Kakashi, Naruto, and Madara. This would be the greatest "out-of-left-field" plot twist.I'm rooting for option (4), myself.

Naruto (as in the manga) has been holding steadily at Pretty Darn Good in my book since the end of the invasion. Ninja politics, The Goddamn Killerbee, interesting backgrounds for Danzo and Karin, and now Naruto's relationship with Sasuke finally showing a new development (rather than another round of "I am even more hateful and bitter now" "I find this news even more depressing than the last time.").
