Seems the girl is most likely either a witch or a sea spirit. The symbol on her door has icons representing the four cardinal directions, kinda like what Schierke did when making a protective circle. I think she's using this to protect herself from the Sea God's influence, and it's the reason she hasn't changed yet.

I'm curious as to what the real story of the old empire's destruction is. But then again there's still no end in sight and I'm not done with what exists so far, so we'll see.

I've just finished rereading it and I noticed two interesting things:A: I can no long enjoy the Golden Age, not even a little. Maybe it's because I know that it's all going to end in a giant mess, or maybe it's because all the monsters in the Dark Age make the human vs human combat in the Golden Age seem really boring, I don't know.B. I forgot how crazy Guts used to be. Seriously, Lost Children makes him seem like a horrible armored boogeyman.

They're by the sea, on a full moon(both of which increase magic potency), they are showing the effects of the merging on Guts, a magical creature(Isma), a mythological god, Schierke's magic, and to top it all off it's a place where Farnese might get to show off what she's learned so far. Release pacing sucks though.

Hey guys, good news about the break! Volume 35 has a set release date of September 29th and needs one more release in order to be a complete volume, meaning that Berserk will be back before September. It's possible that the next episode will be released on August 27th, if not then it will be on September 10th or 24th. Not TOO long to wait!Also, on August 6th Miura will be doing something with the monthly magazine Young Animal Arashi, probably a guest cover or something.
