I just had my first drawfag thread on /co/! I feel so accomplished.I've been saying for like a year how I should post what I draw here, and now I'm finally doing it.
Welcome to bedlam Sqoozh.<3
I certainly hope that year was spent being lazy, rather than nervous. If it's the latter, you're going to be terribly disappointed. If it's the former, you'll fit right in.
oh man i have yet another place to screw with you, this is going to be so sweet
>>31788Oh geeeeeeez, my first response is from Hellstroem. You are a god among men, sir.>>31789Mostly lazy, partly because I needed to get some practice by my lonesome before I started making myself more public. I think I'm in a good place now.>>31790DON'T YOU FUCKING START. >:C
I've been asked to draw various Marvel girls as Sailor Senshi. This was my first one. It's really different from the rest of them, so I might end up redrawing it.
My scanner should probably die in a fire. That, or I should learn how to use it.
>>31793I ALREADY DID
>>31796Well then you're just a meanie butt-head.
>>31798you realize you're within me-throwing-a-book-at-your-head distance
>>31800The world doesn't need to know that, dear.
>>31801HA HA HA
>>31797>>31794>>31795Ooo, now these I love! Are you going to be doing more Avengers girls pieces like these? Monica, Tigra, and Silverclaw could use some love too.
>>31793Surely not a god! Merely another playful fool drawing stuff on the internets. Also: <3
>>31843As Senshi, or just in general? Tigra, Black Widow, and Photon are already on the Senshi list. (Is that who you meant by Monica?) If you want Sailor Silverclaw, can do. If you want something else, feel free to gimme some details! As seen by "Bitches love Jocasta," I'm willing to do a little bit of cheesecake. Just keep in mind that, like the aforementioned piece, it'll probably be silly.>>31849<3 !
>>31886 >>31843Oh, right! Sailor Wasp is also on the list. Though I'm having trouble combining costumes.I've been trying to keep the characters' original gloves and boots (Tigra will be barefoot, of course.), but Wasp's current jumpsuit isn't granting me such luxury (and slapping the Senshi skirt on a jumpsuit, especially with the details of hers, just doesn't look right). Anyone have any ideas? Maybe a reference to an older costume that would work well? I don't wish to disappoint my requester by doing this, but I think using an older costume is my best option.
Wasp has more costumes than any fictional character. Here: it's slow and some of the links don't work, but it's a bunch of Wasp costumes.http://web.archive.org/web/20050830024350/http://geocities.com/ragnodimaggio/ind-eng.htm
>>31908Aw man, nearly all the pics are broken. Still, this is a great find. You, sir, are a bro.
>>31910One tries. And yeah, way too many links are broken, sorry about that. The original site was working just a few months ago...Still, considering Wasp makes a new costume every time anyone anywhere sneezes, I doubt the original requester specifically wants anything tailored to her most recent costume. She'll have a new one when she gets back in a couple weeks anyway. And another new one the week after that!Wings and smallness (or giantness) are probably what's important.Personally I'm a Giant Girl fan more than a Wasp fan. Still Janet Van-Dyne, only she doesn't suck. http://www.comicvine.com/giant-girl/29-41570/
>>31935Well isn't she a fashion designer professionally? So it makes sense she'd change costumes frequently.
>>31935A few months ago Geocities hadn't been shut down yet, if that makes a difference.Idunno, personally I like Wasp better, though this is coming from someone who hasn't read anything featuring her. I feel the giant route has been overplayed, and the ability to shrink, as opposed to grow, is still rather original. Usually most tiny characters are just tiny due to their species, not an ability they have.Either way, it'd be rather difficult to draw her grown or shrunk, as I'm drawing her by herself and there's nothing to compare her to, and if I added a background or a prop it wouldn't fit with the rest of the set. If I do a lineup of the Marvel Senshi later on, though, you can bet I'll draw everyone utilizing their powers in some way.>>31936I have heard this! It makes perfect sense! And that makes it easier and harder for me at the same time. I think I've picked out a costume, even if it's an obscure one - then again, I've already said I've never read the comics, so I wouldn't really know. It's orange?
>>31794>>31795>>31797Enjoyable!
