A new Theme!In lieu of the usual spiel, I've decided on a quick n' dirty post.A Groovie Ghoul !iMToXIeSqk is the winner, with his entertaining commentary on the Japanese porn game industry!Which makes this week's experiment...NEXT SUNDAY A.D.Which is, of course, the not too distant future. You can draw Joels, and Mikes, And Toms, and Crows, And Gypsies, and Foresters, And Franks, And Sattelites of Love and Bad movies, and all sorts of stuff you might in Next Sunday A.D.! I want to make a quick shout out to Charlie Delta who has been terrific since the beginning, and possibly the only person to participate in each and every art jam, and we love him for it. I also want to mention Jonix and DUHRR who have also both been great sports whom have seen fit to grace us with their talents throughout most of this experiment. I also would like to welcome back Hellstroem, who we haven't seen in quite a while, and it's always a pleasure to see his new work. I also would just like to say I really really liked Anonymous's gorgeous piece, of a dinosaur painting, and wanted to apologize to him for not declaring him the winner. I really liked his suggestion, though I wasn't sure if many people would be interested in drawing it. Similarly, I want to thank our pal Godless Communism for his continuous contributions to this art jam. Really, I want to thank everyone who participates, even just once, for your patience, and your help in making this experiment of mine a moderate success. The goal of this was to get /draw/ more active, and I think this has worked to a point. This week, I'm going to switch back to the usual one week standard, because two weeks did not yield the results I desired. So, quick run down of the rules:Always include your suggestion for next week's theme with your entry, and that your entry relates, in someway, to the theme on hand.Make sure to get your entries in before next Monday at 9pm. Judging, and subsequent posting of the new thread takes place between then, and Tuesday at 10pm.Make sure you have fun, as this isn't a contest to see how skilled you are, but an opportunity to participate with, and have fun with, your fellow drawfags. In other words, don't use this Art Jam as a way to take shots at other posters, or whine that you didn't win, or fling insults at artists whose works you dislike. In other words, if you're not having fun, at least don't spoil anyone the fun for everyone else. Okay, everybody, we got /draw/ sign, so get ready to... DRAW!
No need to apologize! I only feel bad I didn't work on it more. *allergy season and bronchitis can do that to ya.* But I am beginning to wonder how anonymous I really am around here being possibly the only anonymous posting fresh content...Oh well, now lets just get to figuring out what to do about the near future. I hear the US is turning into a Nazi Communist Terrorist Dictatorship soon.
In the far flung of future of next sunday, we shall have flying cars, outlandish fashions and our food comes in pills.Next week: Feet of clay.
Hopefully will have something done for this.Is the new deadline tuesday by whenever you decide to judge it or whatever? Because I can totally come up with something tuesday. My time during the week is better spent slacking.
