I guess it would go here...Does anyone else here watch it? Anyone else wanna talk about it?Because I do. I watched the entire thing not too long ago and have been keeping up weekly ever since.
wait watI thought it ended with season 6?
>>91615No way, they're on season 8 right now!
I need to catch up with this season.
I followed it when it first came out, lost interest somewhere around when they went to Zanzibar. It was pretty decent.
>>91615That's Blood Gulch Chronicles (seasons 1-5) and Reconstruction (season 6), but there's a whole 7th season after that (Recreation) and they're currently most of the way through the 8th (Revelation).
Anyone remember this? So much potential, wasted
>>91711I thought that was reconfirmed for happening!
I love this show!
>>91726Don't you toy with my emotions, doctor.
>>91746>The new series Burnie has mentioned in his journals on their website are not to be of the hand drawn cartoon variety, but yet more machinima. Geoff Ramsey stated that they have no current plans to continue Animated anytime soon, but instead incorporate ideas from it into the CGI that they now use. Oh... Sorry bro.
I stopped watching the show during season 6 (I guess the wait was too long for me I guess?), and I have a problem with being too lazy to get into/back into a series. But I might make an exception for RvB. Then again I always say that, and look how that turned out.
OKAY IT'S OFFICIAL. HIRING THE GUY WHO DOES DEAD FANTASY WAS THE SMARTEST THING ROOSTER TEETH HAS EVER DONE.
I own the first three seasons. Always forget to catch up on the more recent ones.
Man, I do not understand the story anymore in the slightest, but the action scenes with Tex make it all worth it.
>>92297It's not that confusing, really. The Meta is going around, collecting AI fragments. Tex and Church are both AIs, Washington is using the Meta to get back in good favor with... the powers-at-be. Church was originally the Alpha, but that was wiped out. Right now he is Epsilon, which is why he is much friendlier. He doesn't really remember what happened in Blood Gulch. The entirety of Blood Gulch (and other similar bases) was nothing more than a test for the Freelancers, Sarge is pissed to find out he's not a real sergeant.
I absolutely love the Blood Gulch Chronicles (Seasons 1-5), but could never really get into the stuff afterwards. Hell, Season 5 had a perfect ending, why try to drag it on?
>>92343Oh, also, Blue Team was here. Red Team is cockbites.
Red vs Blue was what first got me into video games. But I couldn't watch it past season three, it seemed to lose direction and I just haven't been able to watch it since.Even though I hear it's a lot better.
I just marathoned the whole thing over the last week to see what the big deal was. I feel kind of stupid for having missed it all these years.I am going to miss Wash and Doc's banter when the former's gone or killed. That was one of the best things this season.
So Revelations has ended on a fairly bittersweet note. I'm a little pissed that they kind of forgave Washington so easily, but the gang has never been dedicated enough to hold grudges. I wonder, though, if they're going to completely switch to Halo: Reach in the new season or if they're gonna alternate to indicate the memory world and the real world.
>>93263 Their PSA's seem to suggest that they will be making the transition. Check 'em out if you haven't yet.
