The Marvel folks' VAs sound awful. Deadpool and Cap especially. I miss Deadpool's MUA voices, or hell even the MUGEN voice.

The remaining silhouette likely belongs to Frank West as I recall and Dormammu, having been featured in the trailer and thus probably not the game's final boss, has a good chance at being playable.

Oh, and have they shown alternate character colors yet? It occurred to me that a good way of avoiding "clone" characters like War Machine or Ken (sorry) might be a costume system akin to the one used in the otherwise-terrible KoF Maximum games. Thor would give us Beta Ray Bill, Morrigan would give us Lilith, Deadpool would give us Agent X, Dante would give us Virgil, etc.

I doubt they're willing to put more than two characters from the same series in here unless they're a frontline series like SF. If they really are going to add another DMC character it would probably be Nero, though I wouldn't have minded Lady instead of Trish.

we're probably getting as many DMC characters as we are just because Capcom wants them back in gamers' minds again. Remember, they left Dante out of Tatsunoko because they thought he'd be too over-exposed then but it's been a couple years since DMC 4 and the anime.

No offense to the series or anything, but I think the game has enough DMC characters.

It's not just the amount it's the quality. Trish offers absolutely NOTHING unique in terms of powers (she fires LIGHTNING GUNS) and she's probably the least developed and ultimately boring of all the characters in DMC. And considering the series itself ain't exactly shakespear or plot heavy that's saying something.

At least with Vergil we'd get some actual coverage for Dante's brother (cause the guy's gotten basically nothing since DMC3) and with Nero we might get some cool counters or grapple maneuvers with the Devil Arm. Trish only has my previously mentioned lightning guns and the Sparda Sword. Which while cool, just seems to fall flat with her.

I dunno. It just bugs me they go with Trish of all characters for the second DMC character of this game when there are just SO MANY BETTER CANDIDATES.

You know who I want in this game? Guile. I know he's got a relatively no-nonsense fighting style and doesn't fit in as well in a spastic crazy game like MvC but still. GUILE.

As much as I love Guile, charge characters are so weird in MvC games...thought I do have fun using him and Charlie in MVC2 regardless. Bison is straight up awful though.

I understand that it's incredibly unlikely for him to appear, but it was just as much so in MvC2.
