You are now realizing that Miranda Lawson looks like Michael Jackson.http://www.morphthing.com/image/25203422-1273549944664-jpg-1273551707786-jpg?key=b14ca99734643c60e51ca314ea79bab6[/spoiler]
>>84646Ugh, I love floating up in the air for no reason. Oh hey! I can't get down! Wonderful. Oh great, the enemies have a clear shot at me! Superb!
My favorite part of Mass Effect is getting into deep shit, trying to sprint away from the clusterfuck you walked into, and running close enough to a wall that Shepard gloms onto it and end up completely exposed.
>Unintentionally closed off Tali romance path>Several dozen saves/hours ago
>>84647I get something like that in Miranda's loyalty mission. Whenever I do that awesome Renegade Interrupt, my Shepard is invisible during it...
>>84678I did that with Jacob a couple times. I just want to feel the delicious burn when I dump his ass. Finally learned to be nice to him this time.
>>84688If by "nice", you mean play along with the ridiculous porn dialogue.
Is a Mass Effect 1 fine too?WHY CAN'T I SIDE WITH WREX? HIS POINT IS COMPLETELY VALID.
>>85182[Motion for Dent to shoot Dr. Goblin]
>>85180Yeaaaah, that's exactly what I mean. I can't wait to piss him off and kill him in the suicide mission. TO THE VENTS MR TAYLOR, FOR SOME EXTRA STEAMY ACTION. *wink*>>85182You mean when Wrex gets his panties in a bunch on Virmire? You know what I love about ME1? Taking Garrus and Wrex with you for the final battle. They'll both tell you to fuck the Council. <3 (skip to the 3 minute mark)
I uhjust got both games.Oh god FPS games on consoles halp
>>86301Dude, what's the problem? Just twiddle the thumb sticks. Or just play both of them on the PC. (Trollface.jpg)
>>86343I've always used a PC for multiplatform FPSes, but hey guess what my computer's broke to fucking hell. ;;
>>86301The left and right bumpers are your friends. They pause the game, let you look around, breathe and think.
>>86432I've figured it out pretty quickly. Currently running around the galaxy doing stuff instead of going to Feros.
Did anybody else notice Pidgeons in SPAAAACE! ?
>>86791Haha, what, were did you find... Is that the derelict Reaper?
>>86791Haha, oh wow... Um, I'm going to guess that's the big freighter ship hanging on a cliff.
Idea came about after seeing how sex dolls in a factory looked a lot like Miranda from a thread in /toy/Heh I'm seeing Illusive Man running down a list of attributes before they encounter "The Factory""Like ours these are also the peak of human genetic engineering." *scene cuts black boots walking down a hallway* "Peak speed, strength ,intelligence and full biotic aptitude" *See the team readying weapons* "Plus" *takes drag on cigarette *see a Miranda Trio closing in* "These Hunt in Packs" *Two more appear from behind*
>>87267
>>87267I pray to god that Bioware redesigns Miranda, and gives her blond hair like her original designs. She just looks stupid.
>>87332sooo much looks off
I hope Mass Effect 3 isn't as poorly written as 2 and has some actual RPG elements too it.
>>87349
>>87349Oh, I get it! You're trying to troll!
>>87431>>87432Not trolling, but I guess I should clarify:I like the characters. I like the side missions. The dialogue can be really fun at time.Main story? Complete shit. It makes no sense and accomplishes almost nothing in the grand scheme of things. As for it being a shooter yeah I'm not taking that shit back, Mass Effect 1's RPG elements were shallow already, ME2 is basically just Gears of War with Bioware writing.
>>87435 >Main story? Complete shit. It makes no sense and accomplishes almost nothing in the grand scheme of things. And the reason for this effect? It's the middle story in a trilogy (not counting the ME spinoffs that will be milked). And the plot and story of a middle tale in a true trilogy is ALWAYS the weakest, because its just there to tie together the first and last tales. And since plot and story are the crux of RPG elements, that results in a weaker game.Keep in mind: I mean a TRUE trilogy, where 3 elements are actually part of a pre-planned story overarc. Books are usually written as true trilogies, while films that claim to be trilogies are really just movie reboots that came in threes. (See: Karate Kid, Indiana Jones, ect. Good series, yes, but not all TRUE trilogies)
>>87477Do you mean to tell me that Empire Strikes Back wasn't the best one? You'd be wrong, good sir.
>>87477 Mass Effect 2 does fucking nothing however. It doesn't connect shit, and being forced to either destroy the base or give it to FUCKING CERBERUS (who you work for with NO COMPLAINTS despite fighting them all the time in the first game) is just stupid.
>>87484 >>87486 It's a plot point. It doesn't do anything BECAUSE its JUST a plot point, not a development in itself. ME2 just advances you enough to setup for ME3, by dolling out set pieces with no big context. That sounds pretty close to what you're describing, espcially with your Gears of War comment. And no: The fact that it's the 2nd in a trilogy doesn't make it BAD. It just means than in terms of plot progression, its inheriently the weakest of the three. The characters progress the least compared to their introductory and climatic presentations in the first and third.Books are a better example than films, but most of the books I can think of also suffer from Trilogy Creep, which complicates things.
>>87486>NO COMPLAINTSThink how easy it would make reuniting with old crewmates if there was a "Hey, yeah, I'm working for them, up until they inevitably betray me. I'm not stupid."
>>87503 Actually, thats pretty much a dialouge option in ME2 if you meet up with the surviving human crewmate from ME1.Ideally that'll reflect your choices in ME3, to boot. But goddamn thats gonna be a shitload of writing. Hope they're doing what J. Michael Straczynski when it came to organizing plot points: Flat out get 'em physically written down and networked in a binder.
Good lord the number of ME images on /v/ is mind boggling. That Tali set is over 200.
>>87554>That Tali set is over 200.Only 200? Color me dissapointed.
>>87567That surprises me. /v/ must be hard gay for Garrus, when I grabbed the set it was 333 images. And i think there's a 2nd set of garrus out there.
>>87585Well, there was that sticky...
>>87585>>87567would there happen to link download links of these sets?
>>87592I've got the dl link for the big Garrus set, but I didn't grab anything else sorry.http://www.megaupload.com/?d=7SJ0HH3BI also just saw this on Kotaku. Those figurines...I want. Except Shepard, he is pretty meh.http://kotaku.com/5593759/dcs-mass-effect-killzone-god-of-war-toys-up-close--totally-awesome/gallery/

In the mean time check out three new screenshots and stay tuned for more info on Lair of the Shadow Broker.http://masseffect.com/media/screenshots/
>>87593>No SamaraOh ten thousand volts of FUCK YOU
>>87595I don't think this is necessarily ALL the action figs. I don't see why they wouldn't make all of the main characters. Maybe not Kasumi and Zaeed since they're DLC (which would suck, I would KILL to have a Zaeed figurine) but c'mon... This is the kind of shit you know ME fans are going to eat up like fat kids on chocolate cake. It's guaranteed money.
>>87594Well now I have to get a Live account when it comes out.
>>87596I seem to recall Bioware stating that this is merely the first wave of figures and more were to come. Could be wrong, though.>>87594Nifty.
>>87595>Mordin>You're choosing to complain
>>87594Yesssssssssssssssssssss.Oh god please have dialogue trees for Shepards who romanced her.
>>87613And this is less likely, but please have unique dialogue for bringing Tali or Garrus along.
