That's what i was getting at. With the power to absorb any energy and manifest it physically, I'd get pretty power hungry. If, you know, i didn't want to be a superhero. Power absorption, as a villain, is a dangerous power, and someone like Kevin? He's greedy, and really only did things that he thought were "fun" and "interesting" before his heel face turn. But as a plumber, he should start off as a genuine good guy, taking after his father, until he gets a taste of something powerful. and decides he wants a bit more. And then some more. so, yeah, the Diamondhead sketches look pretty good. Again, he seems a bit slimmer than what a defensive alien would be, but otherwise you've got him pat. the Chronian looks good, too. I like how you keep the circle joints and wire frame and stuff in the sketch. I know of only one other guy that drew like that, and he said he doesn't understand why more people don't do so, since it's a good way to learn and get better. Still, the idea of a Chronian on the team seems to be a good idea. Since he's got Hiro's power set, he'll be a rather helpful ally, especially when shit gets too out of hand for our other two heroes.
But, since we already have an Appoplexian, i think Calvin should want to take a slightly more defensive role in the team. One Rath is more than enough to handle a few mooks. Atto should be a controller type (stupid D&D, making me balance parties and whatnot) kind of like Gwen was- take care of multiples rather than one or two at a time.

Also yeah heres how I break it down in a quasi-bullshit character study, you might be here a bit:

Calvin-Chaotic Good, a bit brash as any rookie cop usually is, Calvin believes that the law is unimportant if good can come of it, but due to recent events Calvin has even more issues with laws and regulations, fueling a hatered of people bending the law to suit their needs, but with this mindset he becomes unpopular with certain groups, further cementing his "terrorist" status, now he performs heroic acts out of a combination of genuine goodness of his heart and utter contempt for pointed fingers.

Maddie-Neutral Good, the Team mom if you will, a highly compassionate individual, mostly due to break out of the stereotypes that have fallen most of her species. She also struggles to keep her anger at bay as best she can, fearing harm will come to those she loves if she doesn't, you can say she cares too much, assists Calvin due to their past together and knowing she will be able to do good at his side

Atto-Chaotic Neutral, the typical longevital achellie's heel of getting bored, Atto sets of on a grand adventure of debaucery and seduction, a stark contrast to Maddie's motives to say the least. Atto's in it for the lulz, cause mischeif, and what have you. But being sentient he does have a moral code of sorts, never doing anything too heinous or cruel, just "fun". Also long with a prolonged existence comes a morbid sense of humor...

Also Calvin will have a Loboan/Benwolf as his "berzerker"

Sorry I should have been a lot more detailed with these (I blame only myself), Calvin is being interrigated by Magister Levin, whom has strong evidence linking Calvin to the assault on the research facility, also Calvin was getting bored and put a Styrofoam cup on his head.
