According to an anon on /co/, "Deaths have a greater meaning and impact in this universe aside from shock value, sales, and plot devices." No fridging, basically. Characters still die (we haven't decided for all of them yet) but it's overall a happy place to be.

What we've got so far:
-Jason Todd is alive, friends with Donna and Roy, not crazy, and is Red Robin (Tim is Robin, Dick is Nightwing)
-Maxwell Lord isn't evil
-a new Young Justice team (Blue Beetle III, Static, Terra III, Miss Martian, Offspring, Red Devil, and Traci 13)
-Ralph and Sue have a daughter, Grace (Booster and Ted are possibly godfathers)

Just imagine little Gracie Dibny when she gets older. She'll be traveling around the house and the neighborhood, stuffed animal in tow, trying to solve mysteries just like her parents.

I was also thinking about sort of keeping Countdown to Infinite Crisis; instead of Max being completely evil it's clear that he's under the control of something/someone else. (Kilg%re?) And Ted gets help somehow. Maybe he sends a distress signal of some sort and Oracle sends the Birds of Prey to help him out (or some JLI members!). That way, Max is stopped/saved, Ted doesn't die, and Jaime still gets to help destroy Brother Eye and get introduced to the hero community.

I like the idea of Owen still being alive and not a child killer in this reality but he wouldn't be one of the rogues. i remember someone saying they didn't want Digger to die and since we are doing away with some of the things from Identity Crisis in this Earth, I figured he'd be a rogue still but his son would be on the opposite side, starting out as a villain, then working as a hero, then being somewhere in between trying to figure out where his lot in life lies before being tutored by one of the older speedsters and meeting his brother Bart. Also, I'm ok with Axel as Trickster but more James Jesse and Piper shenanigans would probably be welcome. And since we have newer versions of the Trickster, Mirror Master (well he's been around since the 80's but he isn't the first guy is what I mean), and Captain Boomerang (though he wasn't as bad as his father until BN: Flash), why not a newer Top? Or perhaps the Top is still alive here. Also, I kind of want to see Magenta again. She was an interesting choice as a rogue, having worked with the Teen Titans before and being a childhood friend of Wally, as well as his former girlfriend.

We're not totally doing away with villains, just the ones who were originally good but became evil for completely stupid reasons. There's still a wealth of baddies to choose from. Still, you brought up an excellent point. I think we should keep reformed villains to a minimum here, even if that upsets some people. Max Lord, the Riddler, and Captain Boomerang II are good guys here but we should probably keep it to just them, and possibly the Shade.

Without this, it sounds like we would never have a Sinestro Corps, and since a lot of dead people are not dead, we most likely don't get a Blackest Night. even before Rebirth, we were supposed to get Kyle and John rebuilding the Corps with ganthet and having a Corps war against the Controllers. I'm sure there would be a way to get the other corps involved, especially since a lot of them did have ties to past mistakes by the guardians. Still, your concern is understandable.

Blackest Night would especially be different, since Max, Ted, and the Dibnys are still alive. Still there would be other characters who would still be dead, like Mirror Master I, Cheetah I and other dead members of her Rogue's gallery, Blue Beetle I, countless Green Lanterns, and more. Also, we'd have the Bat Family against countless undead Bat villains, only this time, Jason would be involved (if we keep him alive, we can have him face off against his dead parents and possibly Deacon Blackfire. If we keep him killed off in this universe, we get a Black Lantern Robin and Bruce still gets his greatest failure, even though this is an alternate universe and it doesn't have to have Jason dying.) Also, if Hal did become Parallax and then die trying to redeem himself in this universe, then we woulld most likely have BL Hal and Sinestro (unless Sinestro's alive here too.)

I can see her living a semi-normal life but I'd like to think she'd inherit her parents' affinity for mysteries, perhaps even her father's nose twitching. I could see her mellowing out around high school and worrying more about friends and boys and stuff like that but I'd like to think that, despite that, she'd jump at the very mention of the word "mystery".
