>This December, Orange Lantern Larfleeze, who’s never seen anything he didn’t want for his own, has his hopes set on everything Christmas-related, including Santa Claus. And nothing, not even the heroes that populate the DCU are going to stand in his way.http://dcu.blog.dccomics.com/2010/09/16/larfleeze-takes-center-stage-in-his-own-christmas-special/I am excite
I just hope they bring back some of the crazy bad ass Larfleeze from his first appearance.
...My God. This may actually be a Christmas special I'd want to read.
Atrocitus will get a Valentine special if this does well. Too bad there isn't gonna be anything Halloween-related for Sinestro (& Scarecrow).>>92940Larfleeze has always been Larfleeze.
>my face when this is actually happeningI thought ya'll were bullshitting me.
>>92940Sup LightningArmour or whatever the hell your name was.
>>93022OH OH!!! They need to do a "How the Larfleeze attempted to Steal Christmas before he got a whupping" audio recording. I vote either Hamill or Welker need to play Lafleeze

>>93126
>>93022 Someone needs to send this image to Johns.
>>93128I always hear nothing but complaints about how cape comics have flushed themselves down the drain (one of many reasons I've never really bothered with them), but this looks GLORIOUS.
>>94254Really the only two superhero comics that have totally destroyed themselves right now are Spiderman and Batman.
>>94285Aren't both of those doing really well? Or do you mean Tony Daniel's Batman? I thought that ended.
>>94291...Do you actually think that Spiderman is GOOD right now?
>>94298O.M.I.T aside, yeah it is.
>>94299You are DEAD to me Tiki. DEAD I SAY.
>>94302Alot of people like post OMD Spider-Man. Not because of OMD or reminders that OMD happened mind you but just because they just like the characters and stories and such.I haven't read Spider-Man since around Civil War so I dunno, whatever. Folks seem to dig The Gauntlet, American Son, and Kraven's First Hunt though.
Admittedly I am at best a casual Spider-Reader, but I can't even think of of a good Spider-Man story before American Son and The Gauntlet.I'm also a casual Batfan, if that, but The whole Batman mythos has been more interesting than it's ever been.
>>94302Okay.And for the record, The Batman books are among the best books on the shelves, I'd far sooner read it than GL presently.
>>94313>I can't even think of of a good Spider-Man story before American Son and The Gauntlet. Last Hunt, The best is always last hunt.
>>94254And finally for my last say of the night, Comics in general at at their best right now. Some people just bitch over nothing because it's different.
Comics have been shitty since the 40s, get over it
>>94440Comics were shitty in the 40s, get over it.
>>94440>>94444Everything has been shitty since the 40s, get over it.
everything is and always has been shitty, get over it.
EVERYTHING IS JUST AWESOME
I'm okay with things as they are.
