At first it occurred to me that the way which Vriska blinded Terzei was pretty boring, and exactly what she did to Tavros, with the only difference being exactly what they were forced into. Then it came to me that this is exactly what should have been expected. Isn't this exactly what Karkat when he noted that she was a one trick pony?
Evidence of the degree to which shipping has corroded my brain: when Aradia started wailing on Vriska, I was wondering what her motivation was. "Is she jealous because she thinks there's something between Vriska and Equius, so she's trying to- oh wait, SHE KILLED HER."

Man, the music in the Flash was sort of disappointing. The art was gorgeous, although I'm not used to it. I'm not sure if I like this more, or when things had a slightly more unified look. But it is gorgeous.

Is this really how the troll arc is going to end? Don't get me wrong, it was awesome, but it didn't really seem to fulfil any kind of higher purpose. Like clarifying or introducing a new story element or development. It seems like the transition from the trolls back to the kids would happen with the trolls discovering the kids as the responsible party. The last line of Andrew's newspost leads me to believe we will in fact be transferring back though.No doubt we'll see more of the trolls. They're part of the cast now. But perhaps it would be nice to get a bit more resolution of some of the finer points while the focus is still on them.The only question about it I have is did Aradia's beatdown cause Vriska to wake up on Prospit by outright killing her, or because Vriska realized she had finally received her punishment for what she had done to her friends? Tavros can walk, Vriska has all her eyes and her arm, and Terezi even said that her dream self isn't really blind (she's a strange and confusing girl, that one). If your real self dies, though, your dream self dies, too. That's it. You are dead. We know this because when we were shown that chart with all the trolls and their dreamselves, Aradia was the only one who didn't have one, because she was the only troll whose main body had died. Which makes sense, because if there is no dreamer, how can there be a dream? Sorta Alice in Wonderland there, with the king who the Tweedles imply is imagining all of them. If your dream self dies... Your dream self dies. We haven't seen if your real self is affected, other than you can't get to Prospit or Derse (unless one of the gates leads there, but we haven't been shown that yet).Exceptions to this are Sollux, who had two dream selves and could thus use one to dream of the other, and... Weirdly enough, this update disappointed me a bit. I mean, Droog is cool and all, but knowing that Aradia was manipulated or prodded into doing this makes me D:I wanted her to have crazy shithive maggots RAGE, which she did, but she didn't have as much agency if it's because an Exile told her to, and Aradia pretty much always does what voices in her head tell her to do.Even if in this case it was probably something she apparently wanted to do too.

What are you guys doing. The fact that Aradia uses predestination and outside commands to do whatever she wants has been a part of her character from the beginning. The command was "make her pay," not "beat the shit out of her (until she dies?)." There were many ways to "make her pay," but she picked the one she wanted the most because hey, she has to do it anyway right? It's like when she needed the frog head but she decided to knock the whole thing over afterwards. If it has to be done might as well have fun with it (for a certain value of fun).
