This is cute. David McGuire has been doing this fun thing where he draws webcomic characters reading and reacting to the Gastrophobia book, and Friday was John's turn.
>>86415Haha, awww.
One thing I'm surprised nobody mentioned in the last thread. If dream selves can take over for the original kids as "extra lives" then it is possible for Vriska to regain her vision eightfold and Tavros to regain his working legs. So Vriska can use her mind powers to cripple him again. But others such as Equius and Terezi can't be "restored" in this fashion, since for whatever reason they still have the same damage. Also Aradia will stay dead.
>>86423That's an awful lot of conclusions you're jumping to after a single vague page with no in-depth explanation.
>>86423Terezi might be able to see but chooses not to because the world is more interesting as smells and tastes, or she voluntarily gave up her dream self's sight in order to learn how to do the smell/taste thing. (Or she would be able to see in the dream world, but her glasses are opaque so she can't.)Dunno why Equius has the same damage. Guess he fights robots while sleeping too. Or it mirrors because the damage isn't permanent--it did say his teeth will grow back, maybe trolls shed their horns and grow new ones every year like deer so the broken horn doesn't matter either.
>>86429Actually, I've assumed since we learned she gains her vision scentfold through her lusus, her optic ability was diminished to nothing even if she had the ability to repair her eyes. That the requirements to see how she does make what happened to her sight irreparable by replacing it altogether.
It could be a matter of someone's self-schema influencing their dream self's bodily form. Vriska probably wants her vision eightfold back, and Tavros would like the use of his legs again, but Terezi enjoys her chemosensory perception and being blind is a part of who she is. (Likewise, Equius might just see himself as a guy with a broken horn and messed up teeth.)Or her dream self could be blind because Terezi's awakening may depend in part on her blindness in the first place? Without it, her lusus would have never needed to teach her to sense the world through taste and smell, which is what led to her dream self becoming cognizant.
>>86428Ah. You must be as blind as Terezi then. This is not an indication that they WILL do that, but that interesting enough some of the Dream Selves lack damage and some do not. If you cannot see this well, damn, I feel sorry for you.It is drawing conclusions. Conclusions that are right there on the page. But nothing in the statement you responded to suggests this will even happen because we won't know until the dream selves fate is accounted for (if ever). But NEVERTHELESS it is interesting that some are not "restored" some are not. You want some more of these conclusions that are scaring you so bad? This suggests a strong conscious decision on the part of the writer/artist. He has a reason for doing it this way. Why? Well we'll have to wait and see.
Man all that shit's *boring*.So Sollux and Feferi huh????
BOY
>>86441fjdaskl is Deuce his Exile?! :D
HELLO!
>>86444DELIGHTFUL
>>86445oh god DAT HAT
>>86447It is the BEST of hats.
Ok, here's my theory:Dreamself Equius has the same amount of damage of his real self because otherwise it would feel artificial and unsettling. He probably likes having his horn and teeth growing back because it gives him a sense of organicity (ugh, couldn't find a better word). Liking the organic and hating the artificial is part of his personality. Perhaps because that is a way of making him feel less out of place. He said his superstrength makes him more or less of a freak, so being able to get trashed reminds him that he's still flesh and bone. If he didn't get hurt battling his killbots all the time he would feel depersonalized, and even more anxious that he's unbreakable and weird. He would feel that he's more of a thing and less of a troll. Experiencing the normal healing process eases his mind and tells him that he's in tune with other organic creatures. And Terezi's blindness was eventually replaced, so there's no reason why she would project that if she doesn't want it.
>>86445Awwwww.:3>>86400No need to be afraid Bea.
>>86441>>86445I think is no good outcome of Sollux dying from a massive psychic wave of destruction... but this is the best possible.

Hey, I'm going got be streaming pretty much all evening, till probably around midnight, pacific time.http://www.livestream.com/spleensawfuldrarwringbonanza
What I find odd is that Sollux is flashing red and blue. This is vague speculation, but maybe this means that Sollux doesn't have two literal dream selves, but rather has the potential for two? What I mean is that maybe Sollux has kind of a built-in reset button, where his duality allows him to call a do-over once. He'd see that the situation is irretrievably messed up and decide that he'd like to do one action in the past differently. One self stays in that timeline, doomed, but the other goes back and does things differently.
>>86471Bahahaha, I want to see his reaction when he sees those...stallions.Oh God, why did I have to remember that?

This was posted in the fanart thread with these quotations:"Oh my!""It appears Pupa Pan himself has flown through your window while you were asleep. How exciting! Surely he is here to take you away on the adventure of a lifetime. He is more dreamy and heroic than you ever imagined."... Hmm. Hussie does like his callbacks. Update.
Dammit, Sollux! What have you done?!
>>86573Maybe not! PM miraculously survived a similar explosion.
>>86575This seems like odd behavior for him. I can't remember if his physical body is really dead or not, but this is making me think he's still alive and experiencing a paranoid honey-influenced dream.
>>86577Dream bodies ARE physical bodies. It's basically like transferring your subconscious into a new body.
>>86575What has science Sollux done!?
>>86571>You now notice the green moon that crashed on alternia
>>86580I think it's just looming over the horizon.
Poor Deuce.Always when he tries to help someone, he somewhat screws up.
>>86578That seems likely. It does seem they transfer over to their dream self when the sleep so theoretically when they die - or shall we say enter that deepest of sleep - they might transfer permanently. It's possible, at least. The exact mechanism is still a little mysterious.
>>86578Rather disturbingly physical: http://www.mspaintadventures.com/?s=6&p=003870http://www.mspaintadventures.com/?s=6&p=003872http://www.mspaintadventures.com/?s=6&p=003887
>>86588That actually raises an interesting possibility. What if Jade prototypes her kernalsprite with ... Jade. Stuffed Jade that is. Would they be separate entities or would they resume their weird dream arrangement? Or would the universe just collapse from the recursion?I propose a test. FOR SOLLUX! I mean science.
>>86589we've already had characters prototype themselves or some version of themselves, i dont really see why a stuffedjadesprite would be anything terribly special
>>86591I guess because then Jade would be herself and her sprite simultaneously. Either that, or her sprite would only be functional when she's asleep. The question really is, what happens if she prototypes her dream self before she enters the medium? Everyone else has been careful to wait until they're in the game before engaging in that sort of jiggery pokery. What effect would a dream self prototype have on the king and queen?
GODDAMNIT SOLLUX
Man Sollux has been dealing with psychic screaming his whole life. The one time he gets some peace, Clubs Deuce starts talking.I'd blow up a crab shuttle light years away on my desolate former home planet too.
OH, CLUBS DERP.
>Oh, I know why you got angry at me!>Because we never really talked, right?Oh Deuces...Why do you have to be so naive...
So depending on my paycheck tomorrow, I may end up pre-ordering a troll shirt. The question is, do I get it based on my sign (Aradia) or do I get it based on my favorite troll? (Karkat)DECISIONS DECISIONS DECISIONS...
>>86605Gotta do what feels right with where your heart's all up in, my bromo sapien.
Poor Deuce. I hope the little guys okay. I'd rather he dies much much later than sooner.
>>86589I really hope this is what's going to happen, at least so that the Knight of Time can have a time-displaced self as a sprite, and the Witch of Space can have a space-displaced self. Also because then if the other prototyping is Bec we get a Jade with First Guardian powers and sprite powers and is an animal of the anthropomorphic persuasion for some reason
>>86612He'll live. It's possible that the Midnight Crew are the only exiles that speak to the trolls (since Snowman is kind of a deserter), and that means Deuce will get to speak to two others before he croaks, if he croaks.I do like the idea of Snowman being Terezi and/or Vriska's exile, though.
>>86618Spades Slick contacts Karkat at the end of the intermission, so at that point he exists in the same timeline as the Trolls. Before doing that, he switches into a certain timeline. A timeline where the rest of the Midnight Crew are dead.I'm pretty sure that CD is dead for real, and that HB and DD are about to follow.
>>86619One could even say they are about to follow suit.
>>86620YEAAAAAAAAHHH!!!
>>86619I figured that, since the trolls are in the Medium by the time any of them are contacted, the mess of time on Future Alternia didn't really matter. They're not in the same universe anymore. There could be three different Spades Slicks harassing three different people from three different parallel universes because, due to the Felt's shenanigans, the timelines keep dividing. Mostly Die's fault probably. How many times did he pull out/push in pins anyway? It could also be a very long time between the rest of the Midnight Crew dying and Slick waking up in the vault. We don't know when or how they died in that timeline, just that they did eventually. Deuce could also be fucking around on the giant crab machine years before the intermission happened, so he does die when the vault opens, but he still has a while to go.time sure is weird!
>>86620
gosh we're coming right up on 8/26, aren't weI wonder if Hussie'll do anything big.
>>86606BUT MY HEART IS UNDECIDED!
>>86627Maybe he'll drop the new album.
Maybe Spades just assumed that they died here.
>>86631People will probably assume it's your sign, if they know anything about astrology.
>>86641Worst-case scenario, they'll think you're making a shitty 69 joke.
>>86571So, Karkat took a bite out of a large bug/crab-thing to enter the Medium?
>>86644Not necessarily. These things apparently just need to be damaged in some way. Rose smashed her bottle and Dave's egg hatched on its own.
>>86645that could be considered "damage"
>>86644Isn't that like taking a bite out of his father?
>>86649YO HO HO HE TOOK A BITE OF HIS DAD
>>86650Actually it doesn't seem as if the Troll version operates in this manner, similar to how they don't require CDs ... or weird tube worm equivalents. It may be part of Sollux's adaptation seems like getting someone into the medium is more dependent on who is running the server:http://www.mspaintadventures.com/?s=6&p=004175http://www.mspaintadventures.com/?s=6&p=004176It could be Vriska being the bluh bitch again. She has shown some deep misunderstanding of fundamental Sgrub gameplay before. It could be the only the first tier prototyping is required prior to entering as a necessity of empowering the agents, imps, and, more importantly, the ring and scepter. Still just a guess but it has ancilliary evidence here:http://www.mspaintadventures.com/?s=6&p=004087http://www.mspaintadventures.com/?s=6&p=004088http://www.mspaintadventures.com/?s=6&p=004089Admittedly the story could have skipped some steps for expediency. It could still go either way.
>>86652I seem to recall Andrew saying that the trolls' entrances into the Medium, and what their cruxite keys are specifically, were being skipped since it's largely irrelevant.Besides, even though Sollux adapted the code and everything, it's still the same game! There hasn't been any evidence of sweeping changes made to the program or the player's procedure through the game. Biting/breaking/cracking/whatever-it-takes-ing the cruxite key is what brings the player and their home to the Medium. Sollux has a carved totem on his alchemiter that was likely used to create his key before he cacked it, and Tavros and Aradia are shown hanging around their alchemiters just after entering.
>>86653If it was the same game it wouldn't be adapted from ancient relics. It would be restored from ancient relics.
Hmm. It also seems obvious that it's doing things they didn't intend. That's the point of the whole Double Mobius Reach-Around.
Isn't it odd how when the human kids started playing the game, they took the time to experiment and got upgraded clothes, upgraded weapons, portable, wearable computers, etc. The trolls entered the game and basically continued being themselves. They don't seem to have the same drive to figure things out in the game or even to set goals. Then the trolls go on to fuck up the game for the human kids.
>>86658 Both sides apparently fucked the other over according to one of the trolls but then again he may have been lying.
It will be interesting to see how Karkat obtained a new purple computer to turn into his mobile crabputer. Maybe he kept a spare. In case his original ever exploded for completely coincidental reasons.
>>86658I like how we are able to see how the game is really played, searching ruins and obtaining weird fragments to wall murals, but at least some of the trolls could care less about that. Bluh bluh huge Vriska.
>>86662You mean couldn't.
Update! Sweet fuck that land.
>>86656Are you saying that Sgrub is a different game than Sburb based on the perceived semantical difference between adapting runes and glyphs into a video game program and restoring them? In spite of the overwhelming similarities between the two? And Karkat telling John on multiple occasions that they're playing the same game?
>>86663No, he means could. The English language sure is weird!
>>86666Not at all what I was expecting.Kinda makes me wanna play Psychonauts. :|a

Land of-What the Christ.
>>86658That's not true, they've got plenty of generated stuff, we're just not seeing them fuck around with the alchemiter because it's irrelevant.Wouldn't be surprised if CD's bull penis cane turns out to be one of Terezi's more unfortunate combinations.
>>86670Tell us how you really feel, anonymous.

You'd think those brains would be on fire or not human but whatever. Still weird.
>>86670Your post made me cry. :(
Oh God, they're all giant Dave brains.
oh godwe're going to get 5 lands in the next 7 days arent we >_>
Wait, it looks like Feferi's been defending herself against the brains. And judging by how close they were that she speared them, they aren't doing any psychic shit, just sort... flying into a person, I suppose. That's kinda gross but really not damaging. How silly.>>86677It's okay, buddy, he just has a hate boner for Captor.
>>86680Just four, I think? We still need to see Eridan and Nepeta's planets, and get a better look at Kanaya's. And theirs + Terezi's all need names.I think the four of them and Gamzee and Equius are the trolls whose titles we still don't know, too.
>>86670Sollux was the creepiest and most mysterious troll back when he first showed up in act 4. Sure, he's been overshadowed by his much crazier comrades and their totally batshit antics, but I have the feeling he will turn out to be one of the most important characters later in the plot.
So here's a question. If Sollux didn't die, and his dreamselves awakened as usual, what would happen? Would both be active simultaneously? Would they alternate?
>>86686His dreams selves would be simultaneously awake and asleep, and he would start having dreams in deeper and deeper layers.I M P C E P T I O N
>This Just In:Voynich Manuscript: A 15th Century Sburb Guide
>>86686I think that they would stay awake depending on his mood. If euphoric it would be Prospit Sollux, and if saddened it would be Derse Sollux. Which, of course, would mean that he wouldn't be able to explore shit.
Brains and Fire.Brains and Fire?...Brains... and Fire....'Kay.
Oh man, is anybody else watching Shaq VsCharles Barkley is trying to playing golfso wise @_@
>>86686 One of them would have to go I'm guessing. Most have two separate selves across dreaming and awakened and between Black and White kingdoms. Three might be too much to handle even with his mutant brain and besides, both of them seem to have merged together and count as a living entity that can exist between both borders so knows what this situation has made him become. Has it occurred to anyone else that Feferi's power could be swapping lives? It's not that Sollux is special and had two all along for whatever reason, it's that Feferi transferred Aradia's to him because she thought he was permadead and also has no idea what she's doing. It's not a big loss to Aradia because she is an unstoppable tank anyway--she's got a body made of extremely strong metal and she can leave it if she wants to, which makes her immaterial. Nothing can damage her. She'll be 0k.>>86703Is he a headache? He seems to be one of the more well-liked trolls, really. Or at least popular with the ladies.
>>86703Well, his mutant brain has been mentioned a couple of times by now. He's not wired like the other trolls and suffers for it.Anyway Sollux isn't my favorite, but the only troll I even come close to disliking is Nepeta, so I guess each to their own.

>>86716Nah, cleft lips alone--which is what she would have, not a cleft palate, her cat mouth doesn't extend all the way up to her nose so it's probably not a problem with the roof of her mouth--aren't that ugly. She's still cute one way or the other.I've always seen it as a cleft.
>>86715Her first pesterlog had *action asterisks and emotes :33* which for some people (like me) are literally the worst thing anybody can do on the internet. Literally the worst thing. Equius had a humanimal lusus and giant furry dong posters and I didn't feel anything. I opened Nepeta's first pesterlog and ragequit homestuck for a week without reading it. Also I hate cute things. That stuff never bothered me for the simple reason that they're communicating through an instant messenger, which is an inherently casual medium of discourse. Even then though, their spelling remains rather impeccable, even though certain letters and words might be replaced by their respective textual quirks. It's just a big fucking mess and I'm worried about people with bad mics and acting making the cut. Also, callbacks aren't really necessary in my opinion unless you need to tweak the voice to sound younger, older, gruffer, and etc. Which I don't think is the case here.

>LAND OF THOUGHT AND FLOWThat's . . . abstract.
>>86834Oh hey, the sky is synapses
>>86834I hesitate to pick a favorite land until they've all been revealed, but that is really cool.
>>86834Really though it's a FUCK of a lot less abstract than brains and fire. Thought and flow -- thinking and water, as seen on the ground. The sky is like brain cells, which fits her since her brain is constantly working with her super senses. And water is a common element associated with thought.Even more endearing, Terezi has a Mind World, whereas Karkat has a Body World. Pulse/Blood and Thought/Mind.
>>86837Wait, it's less abstract than the Land of Brains and Fire, which is a land that is abundant with literal brains and fire?
>the SEER OF MIND remains behind to unravel the mysteries of the LAND OF THOUGHT AND FLOW. hmm so there's also a precedence for the Seers to stay in their own worlds.first the time classes penchant for se;f prototyping and now this.
>>86837 >>86838The Land of Thought and Flow does seem more abstract, while the Land of Brains and Fire is more straight-up bizarre.

On the one hand I want to listen to the voice tryouts to see what other people are doing for the trolls. On the other, I don't want to have my perception permanently coloured, or get inspired to make an ass of myself by submitting something. I don't even have a mic, and my voice has only been complimented by people who were really high. It's been insulted by a couple of people for being too flat and droning, though.
>>86844I love this! Kanaya looks so happy.
Assuming the player's class titles have to be one syllable each (the X of Y) I like to try and think of what the unrevealed ones are.Like in my mind, Gamzee is the Bard of Hope.

>>86875I don't think so.She'll get over it.And maybe she could end with Rose. Just sayin'.
>>86871oh man, if Doze makes a triumphant return I might diehe was pretty much the best felt.
>>86869I said Snowman purely 'cause of the "8th Exile" bit, but thinking about it...Doc Scratch had plans for the BQ, which may have involved her future role as an exile. Given Scratch's already established relationship with Vriska, she may have been required to contact/manipulate her....or, failing that, the other member of Team Scourge.
>>86876I started playing this and my dog got up from her bed to come stare at my computer while it played.dog loves music and me too>>86878THE CHASEISON>>86879It probably means nothing but if Snowman was attempting to control Vriska because of her love of 8s but decided to switch to Terezi, it could be because Terezi's quirk is "4+3+1".
>>86844Aww, they're so cute together
>>86798Thank you for this tiny tiny snippet of information about how the casting process is going. That makes it easier for me to wait. And I think asking some people back for a second round of submissions isn't a bad idea at all, s's how real auditions go sometimes.>>86847Auditions for the radio play are closed, but there's a whole thread of people just causally submitting readings of pesterlogs, filks of songs sung in-character (Trollfire v. highly reccomended), and so on. It's fun, and you could just try stuff out and get feedback, without having to listen. Some of the clips are really, really, funny and great though. There are scottish supervillian and sassy german takes on Eridan, and both make me fall over laughing.
>>86875I doubt it. Even if Tavros and Vriska being on an adventure does somehow mean they're redromming now, he's gotta show some Virgo solidarity somehow.
hmm I think it sounds better if the drums kick in a bit sooner.http://tindeck.com/listen/zsrfdon't mind me just being fickle!

>>86896No clue, it was on /co/ regular. I have a hunch it's probably a little too risqué for the forum's fan art thread.
>>86815Oh my goodness I can't stop laughing.
Hmmm, I just noticed that some of the kid's consorts are on the wall when AR finds the ruins/lab floating out in the veil. There are Rose's turtles, Dave's crocodiles, and I think that's some Sburb gates and a frog head with something else I can't think of...
>>86904Those have been around ever since AR was first playable. The "frog heads" are John's salamanders. The last one represents Jade's consorts, which are seemingly the same as Tavros's.
>>86895>but he can get a better oneOk, sweet.>The last minute snowman audition was PERFECT I know, ri->but we want her to play Terezi instead Wait, wut?
>>86895>Instead of Hitler we might be going for Macbeth.Oh. Well, I guess that works. I don't understand the "insensitive" since yeah, he's pretty much Mel Brooks' version of alien hitler, and we all know his mission in life is to slowly make the man a laughingstock.
>>86908>Yukai's NepetaYou do know that her Nepeta audition was modulated, right? That wasn't raw audio.
Okay guysI seriously want Droogs to be Kanaya's exile now. I'm already working on >>86892 and >>86885 now and I just...can't get over how adorable this would be. I need help. Help convincing Hussie that this would be awesome.
>>86910$10 says it's a given, if the theory about mobius-end users getting Midnight Crew exiles is right. So Karkat gets Jack, Sollux gets Clubs. Then Equius would get Hearts (an unnervingly good fit) and Kanaya would get Droogs, noted for his appreciation of monochrome beauties.Basically Droogs can be Kanaya's Sassy Gay Friend.
so the 8th exile is probably Snowman, cause, y'know, 8so that gives us 3 more mystery exiles?and more than likely, 4 more since 8 doesn't exactly divide into 12also loling @ insensitive german accents
Okay, I had to make this into two parts because I am a tool. Tweaking the second one to actually look good.
So at Othar's insistence, I decided to get Karkat's shirt.I am stoked for this. This is exciting. I am excited.

>>86916The only way this could be better is if it were animated.>>86910I am all-encompassingly behind Droog and Kanaya teaming up.Wasn't there an art once where Droog ended up being Terezi's exile, with similar results?
>>86912Being the eighth exile obviously implies it's SnOwman, which is why Hussie's more likely to make it AR?? or something.I still sort of mad about the Seer of Light/Witch of Space thing, but butthurt is a waste of emotion so whatever

>>86925I mean like, you're good at implying a background or a character that's mostly a silhouette. Minimalist wasn't exactly the right word, but I do admire your workand d'aww that's hilarious
An idea that sprung out of a conversation on IRC: What if someone tried to code Sburb on an analog device? What if someone was trapped in a session of...Steampunk Sburb?
>>86927No, fuck that, Sburb:THE LASERDISC
How about a VHS tape? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NEMOAnd the players interacting with each other by using some crazy Satellaview-esque device that would send almost unreadable interpretations of the client player minutes later.I'm flipping out just by trying to imagine how this would work.ok this is retarded
>>86929Oh Jeezus, an 80s/early 90s SBURB would be so fucking hilarious to us now that we have DVDS and INTERNET.
>>86929>>86930The Sburb discs would need a large cardboard box of VHS tapes. Instead of John losing a disc, he'd accidentally drop one of the tapes into the void.
Dave's tape would come unwound, so he'd have to reel it in with a pencilWHILE THE METEOR IS SECONDS AWAY
I wonder what would happen if Dave and Tavros met in person?
>>86935It would be horrible. Tav attempts to strike up a conversation (going uHH, every other word) about rapping or fairies or something. All hopeful. He'd shuffle his feet if he could. And Dave . . . Dave's just silent.

>>86935They become awkward friends. Over the years they grow close and eventually make an album combining Dave's fresh jams and Tavros' hot jams. It's lyrical content is a mix of Human Sci-Fi, Hip-Hop culture, and Troll mythology.
>>86936They're silent for a while.Dave says, "Hey, you're that one guy who said he wanted to get mad hornographic with me, and I accepted. I've been waiting for so long."Tavros curls into a little ball and cries.

Yay, after a terribly depressing amount of time spent on lesser characters we finally get back to THE STAR.So hey apparently if you don't want me to notice you all you have to do is be a color that dramatically stands out from your surroundings and take up the entire length of my field of vision.
>>86976now I wish i saved pictures from /tg/ because there is this one with a monster coming out of the sky and the rest of it's body goes into the background for miles and miles and it's a cool pic and this long ass dragon makes me think of it.

Things are getting interesting! So glad to see Terezi again, probably means things are going into high(er) gear. I love this Land, by the way, it looks like how I always imagined Elysium would look like which is quite fitting for 'Rezi even though I very much doubt it was what Andrew had in mind.THE LAND OF SOULS CLEAN AND PURE.OF HEARTS UNTAINTED BY EVIL AND INJUSTICE AND BARBARIC VENIALITY.>>86995AHAHAHAHA OH BEA YOU SILLY LITTLE RATTLESNAKEYou beat me to it!

This might be a little late in the story to wonder, but why haven't we seen how Terezi was blinded yet?See saw how Tavros was crippled, Aradia died and how Vriska lost her arm and eye.It just seems a little...not right to just leave Terezi's injury unresolved to the audience.

It is interesting that the troll game includes exiles who ... okay, I don't want to say actively work against the group, but certainly if the Eight Exile (who uses the weird appearance motif Snowman ( http://www.mspaintadventures.com/?s=6&p=003167 ) as well as a fancy script show by the exiled white queen during the kids' session). Not sure how this "mission" will play out but we can assume at some point Snowman gets her hands on one of the ~ATH programs, maybe even Karkat's:http://www.mspaintadventures.com/?s=6&p=003925Then changes it so that her death results in the death of the universe. If the trolls at some point join the kids after the rift, I don't know, combines their sessions then you have to wonder if the Midnight Crew and The Felt might have a role in the future of the game too. Imagine Spades Slick and Jack Noir bumping into each other. OTP?
>>87018oh man this is so well craftedi need one
>>87029Half of Whistles, almost all of Humanimals (bringing those into three-dimensional space would surely unleash terrors beyond imagining into this world).

The ~.ATH curse placed on her by Doc Scratch is executed, ending the universe and formally summoning Lord English.BONUS SPECULATION: The Felt's vault contains the very same dodeca-prototyped ring Snowman had put in her vault when she was still the Black Queen.Baseless speculation is fun!
>>87042ALSO:The Rift is when the trolls' session is merged with that of the kids' as Skaia invokes another defense mechanism in response to Lord English appearing nearby (i.e., in a universe it's currently connected to).Lastly:>Still, it might come in handy down the road. Lord English is supposedly indestructible. He's rumored to be killable only through a number of glitches and exploits in spacetime. The doll may ultimately help you work the system if it comes to that.
http://www.mspaintadventures.com/?s=6&p=003167>Violins: Slowly realize that given what we now know about black romance, Snowman's cigarette could be considered almost post-coital.
>>87044http://www.mspaintadventures.com/?s=6&p=003174Haha oh wow.
Bea, I am still watching that gif and giggling.
>>87042Problem: The doll doesn't actually cause Sn0wman's death, it'll just jump Slick to a timeline defined by Sn0wman's death. I don't think it'll cause anything to change in the troll's timeline but i could be wrong.>>87047I have hypnotized you with tongue action and now i will steal ALL YOUR GOOD IDEAS
>>87010Is MuM on the music team yet?
>>87050No because there is no justice in the world
Okay is MuM on the music team now?
>>87054MuM will soon have a bunch of groupiesI LIKED HIM BEFORE HE WAS COOL ;_;
>>87049WHAT GOOD IDEAS?>>87054Anon, I swear to God, if you ask me that one more time I WILL turn this thread around. That said, you guys could make a big deal of him at the forum if you want to promote him. Which you should.
>>87060whoops tonguetanglelbuddies.gif got posted in the goon threadluckily it got overshadowed by cooler stuff:smith:
alright, who wants to touch meIn all seriousness, I hear Radiation is going to be taking over music team management, which will probably mean he'll be taking on EidolonOrpheus since they're basically in love. Hopefully I can ride the coattails there.
also Tents and Mirth now has more hits than anything else I have ever posted on Tindeck, ever. What the hell is this.
>>87068Bitches love Gamzee.
>>87070They sure do.
Am I the only one who can't stand Gamzee?
>>87072Yes
>>87072Most likely.
>>87072And Spleen continues to be our own personal Karkat.
>>87075It's just that if I wanted to listen to ambitionless stoners babble about the world, I could drive up into Mendocino.
oh wow, I think I just had my first dramaI based Land of Though and Flow off of one of the WIP tunes I sent Armada, because I thought it really fit. But it turns out he wanted to use it too for his Housetrapped adventure. So I took it down from tindeck. It'll be up again soon whenever Armada feels like releasing it. I think its going to be free on bandcamp. Not actually that dramatic!New LoTaF theme incoming I guess!
>>87076and if you wanted to hear them roleplay with submissive members of the aristocracy?
>>87078I dunno, maybe craigslist would have something?
Guys, if you would be so kind as to delete your posts on the casting info that'd be really helpful. Someone contacted everyone involved and said they weren't comfortable with the info regarding the casting session and process being passed around and being as I probably was the only one who went and blabbered to people, I feel like a huge jackass assuming others would be okay with me talking about it and even though I can't undo what I did I'd still like to help them out with it.Aaaaahhhhhhhh why am i such a jerk D:
>>87072Interacting with an irl Gamzee is terrible, but I love Gamzee himself. Then again I consider that one guy my friend so I guess I don't hate the real ones either.
>>87081That seems totally arbitrary and delusional, a policy that only a forumite with no perspective could come up with (so perfectly in line with the rest of their decisions, but I digress). Nothing you said is damaging or has any reason to be kept under wraps.
>>87081shit lets be drama buddiesalso lol @ uptight casting crew. GI and I were on regular co last night pretending to be celebrities and he was running his mouth off about applicants and casting procedures and stuff. So don't worry yo'self.
>>87083I'd rather not make anyone uncomfy by being needlessly defiant when they asked very nicely for me not to run my mouth where it's not needed. I can't force anyone to do anything, I'm just asking.>>87084u scampyou must stir up ALL THE MUSIC DRAMA promise me this
>>87081Note to self. Playing he-said-she-said with these two communities isn't really a good idea.>>87083Man, if someone wants confidence kept regarding something, you keep confidence. It should be EXPLICIT, not IMPLICIT, admittedly. Do you care to elaborate a bit on what you mean re: arbitrary and delusional?I get the impression the people running and directing this radio play thing are more scared of drama than is actually going on, from what I can see around the edges. Also, drama? In my amateur theatrical production? (In the CASTING CHOICES, NO LESS?) More likely than you think. Especially if someone is a bit worried about the legitimacy of their authority (not something I'm saying is happening, or something I have any support for is happening. Just an idea that occured to me when I considered 'arbitrary'.But if we don't wanna talk about the drama here, I can shut up too.
>>87088That's what I'm saying, you can't blame people for not assuming that information should be kept quiet if you never explicitly tell them.
>>87081I'm not sure how much this will help, Bea, but try not to beat yourself up. You obviously had no idea and never wanted to upset people. I know it will still bother you that it happened but please stop thinking of yourself as a jerkass. You had no intent whatsoever. It was just a mistake, and one you are working to correct as best you can. That says a lot about you, not against you. Chin up!
Man, I leave you guys alone for one day and you get drama all over the new rent-to-own sofa.
>>87091You're surprised about drama? Wow, you must be new here. Thanks for the couch, though, now why don't you go make everyone some pizza rolls.
>>87042Assuming Snowman still refused to wear it due to "uhg, frogs" but has kept it around ... the idea of an insanely overpowered times twelve prototyped Spades Slick bumping into an insanely overpowered Jack Noir is too cool to pass up.
at least it wasn't the bolincaust all over again jeezcrisis averted, I guess
>>87042> Baseless speculation is fun!Nah, that isn't baseless. Asking what happened to the Queens Ring is very pertinent, in fact. Baseless would be speculating that the trolls combine their power to form Trolltron to fight the Black King.Huge difference. It's still speculation but hardly baseless. Even if the comic doesn't go anywhere near where your idea suggested does not make it baseless. Having nothing in the story to back it up does.In fact I'll be surprised if Snowman's ring is never accounted for except maybe in a formspring question that most people who read the comic will never know about.
>>87098>Baseless would be speculating that the trolls combine their power to form Trolltron to fight the Black King.THAT THEORY IS SOUNDAll signs in the story obviously point to the trolls using the PSHOOOES code to alchemize an assortment of rocket-powered vehicles that combine into a super robot.
>>87098Trolltron does sound pretty awesome.
>>87099Okay, you're letting the new rent-to-own couch get to your head.Next you'll be telling us Aradiabot really does come with flamethrower nipples. I mean it must because Equius is that much a perv and the thought of Troll Austin Powers is just too damn compelling.
>>87096I'M LEAVING FOREVER AND TAKING KARKAT (COPYRIGHT ME) WITH MEEEEEEEE

>>86965Ever notice in the latest update when the fancy text says Jack it certainly doesn't look like the word being used is "jack." At all. Let's just say the a looks like a u and you can go from there.Fitting, really. Also hopefully Terezi won't get confused on her "mission." Ahem.
>>87101Whoa no way! She's obviously got boob missiles.
>>87108... I see no reason why she can't have both. Compromise is the basis for awesome, after all.
>>87101No. Equius decided to take things in a different direction.BECAUSE HE COULD DAMMIT!Deleted the embeded link because although Youtube doesn't mature block it it's still fairly majorly NSFW. Be warned. This may just cause your head to explode.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wo-gGes6qig
Easily the best land of the bunch.
>>87116>Rouge of Heartmost useless power
