The show's not that interesting, the costume design is hideous, so why can't I stop watching this show?
BECAUSE IT'S JAWSOME!Also, I am sad it will NEVER get an ending.
Ugh. That really is an ugly costume.
>>84697It's WAAAAAY better in motion.
>>84703It's pretty bad no matter how you slice it.
>>84714I dunno, Nostalgia might be blinding me, but it's really not that bad, thought I'd have preferred they used the 2099 costume.
>Watching episodes on YouTube.>Realize that there's plenty of stuff in episode 3 that Zone could use in a porno-flash.
Place your bets.
>>84728Spidey has the clear advantage here as his suit is obviously more advanced (Being made out of Nanobots) and he has default Super powers, plus, though I like Terry a great deal, I wouldn't call him Peter Parker levels of smart.Terry got cooler shoes though. And better written stories. And critical acclaim, etc.
>>84734Yeah, but Terry's a lot more stylish.
>>84741I believe my etc covered that.
>>84743Ah, so it did.Unrelated: Git Hoskins is a badass.
The only thing I liked about the show was the opening credits, the artstyle and the few minutes Pete wore the ol' webbed red and blue. The show itself wasn't horrible, but the concept just felt too awkward for me to accept as a Spidey show
>>84728Terry, in all fields. Not even a contest.Tangentially related, am I the only one that really likes the black suit? Like infinitely more than the original red and blue?
>>84746No, you're not. I'm right there with you in loving that the most. For something so simple in design it's incredibly stylish.Any idea who designed it? That guy was brilliant.
>>84749No but I remember an interview where they talked about trolling the readers into thinking the change was permanent, and they all loved it. then lolno symbiotes.I wouldn't say it's my absolute favorite though. I am loving the future costume from the new video game. And this. Holy yes this. Hnng.
>>84751You mean Spider-Man 2099, the costume isn't from the Video-Game, it's from the series Spider-Man 2099, from the fantastic 2099 line.>>84746I adore it, but for me it's a tie with the R&B.
>>84751I like this, but then I love the whole 'mystery man' look.>>84761Too villainous, and it has the same problem as the 'Unlimited' look, in that it's trying too hard to be 90s.
>>84761I never liked how it looks in the comics for some reason. It looks much better three-dimensional.
But if we're talking about favorites I gotta go with Ross's design.
>>84718>Episode 7 has Spider-Man say "Something tells me we're in for something more than a facial!"Can anyone tell me how to contact Zone?
>>84765His gloves need to be solid red, and he needs red boots, but yes, it's a thing of beauty.
>>84769>red bootsOh nay nay. Solid color from the diaphragm down is part of the elegance. Don't know if want on the gloves though.
>>84773Give them a nice diagonal angle to match the angle of the red on his chest and voila.
>>84777That is really good, but I still think the wrist guards and squares look better. But that's just like my opinion man.
>>84790To each their own, I suppose.
How do Venom and Carnage manage to morph the way they do with human beings inside of them?
I didn't even know this show already started.
>>84824I always figured it stretched/extended away from the actual limbs, but yeah, sometimes the limb-craziness gets...crazy.
>>84824Maybe the more a symbiote becomes one with it's host...it literally becomes one. When it's host gives in to the symbiote, their physiology takes over or whatever. That's just me pulling an explanation out of my ass.
>>84845Back in dem days, I think they called it "going for a No-Prize".
>>84746I'd like to see the black costume make a comeback. Hell the entire reason he got rid of it was because Venom traumatized Mary Jane and he's not with her anymore, so why the hell can't they?
>>84910They did. It was called "Back in Black". It was kind of dumb.
>>84911... can you link me to the story?I really like that costume.
>>84911I liked the part where God PERSONALLY came to visit Peter and told him that in spite of all the hardships it wasn't for nothing and he could soldier on then the last page at the very bottom of an inspiring ending is "NEXT ISSUE, BRAND NEW DAY!"
>>84911Yeah, I remember. I guess I'd just like to see it come back as an alternate costume option for the writer/artist to use to their preference.
>>84913I'm lazy so....http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spider-Man:_Back_in_BlackHappy hunting. After work I can probably look around /rs/ or someone else will. I dunno.
>>84917Oooh, man.That's some vicious irony.
God Bless you, Comic Con.
