The show's not that interesting, the costume design is hideous, so why can't I stop watching this show?

BECAUSE IT'S JAWSOME!

Also, I am sad it will NEVER get an ending.

No.84697
Ugh. That really is an ugly costume.

No.84703
>>84697
It's WAAAAAY better in motion.

No.84714
>>84703
It's pretty bad no matter how you slice it.

No.84716

I dunno, Nostalgia might be blinding me, but it's really not that bad, thought I'd have preferred they used the 2099 costume.

>Realize that there's plenty of stuff in episode 3 that Zone could use in a porno-flash.

Spidey has the clear advantage here as his suit is obviously more advanced (Being made out of Nanobots) and he has default Super powers, plus, though I like Terry a great deal, I wouldn't call him Peter Parker levels of smart.

Terry got cooler shoes though. And better written stories. And critical acclaim, etc.

No.84741
>>84734
Yeah, but Terry's a lot more stylish.

No.84743
>>84741
I believe my etc covered that.

No.84744
>>84743
Ah, so it did.

Unrelated: Git Hoskins is a badass.

No.84745
The only thing I liked about the show was the opening credits, the artstyle and the few minutes Pete wore the ol' webbed red and blue. The show itself wasn't horrible, but the concept just felt too awkward for me to accept as a Spidey show

Terry, in all fields. Not even a contest.
Tangentially related, am I the only one that really likes the black suit? Like infinitely more than the original red and blue?

No.84749
>>84746
No, you're not. I'm right there with you in loving that the most. For something so simple in design it's incredibly stylish.

Any idea who designed it? That guy was brilliant.

No but I remember an interview where they talked about trolling the readers into thinking the change was permanent, and they all loved it. then lolno symbiotes.

I wouldn't say it's my absolute favorite though. I am loving the future costume from the new video game. And this. Holy yes this. Hnng.

You mean Spider-Man 2099, the costume isn't from the Video-Game, it's from the series Spider-Man 2099, from the fantastic 2099 line.

>>84746
I adore it, but for me it's a tie with the R&B.

No.84762

I like this, but then I love the whole 'mystery man' look.

>>84761
Too villainous, and it has the same problem as the 'Unlimited' look, in that it's trying too hard to be 90s.

I never liked how it looks in the comics for some reason. It looks much better three-dimensional.

But if we're talking about favorites I gotta go with Ross's design.

Can anyone tell me how to contact Zone?

His gloves need to be solid red, and he needs red boots, but yes, it's a thing of beauty.

No.84773

Oh nay nay. Solid color from the diaphragm down is part of the elegance. Don't know if want on the gloves though.

Give them a nice diagonal angle to match the angle of the red on his chest and voila.

No.84790

That is really good, but I still think the wrist guards and squares look better.

But that's just like my opinion man.

To each their own, I suppose.

How do Venom and Carnage manage to morph the way they do with human beings inside of them?

No.84832
I didn't even know this show already started.

No.84839

I always figured it stretched/extended away from the actual limbs, but yeah, sometimes the limb-craziness gets...crazy.

No.84845

Maybe the more a symbiote becomes one with it's host...it literally becomes one. When it's host gives in to the symbiote, their physiology takes over or whatever. That's just me pulling an explanation out of my ass.

No.84859

Back in dem days, I think they called it "going for a No-Prize".

No.84910

I'd like to see the black costume make a comeback. Hell the entire reason he got rid of it was because Venom traumatized Mary Jane and he's not with her anymore, so why the hell can't they?

No.84911
>>84910
They did. It was called "Back in Black". It was kind of dumb.

No.84913

... can you link me to the story?

I really like that costume.

No.84917
>>84911
I liked the part where God PERSONALLY came to visit Peter and told him that in spite of all the hardships it wasn't for nothing and he could soldier on then the last page at the very bottom of an inspiring ending is "NEXT ISSUE, BRAND NEW DAY!"

No.84925
>>84911
Yeah, I remember. I guess I'd just like to see it come back as an alternate costume option for the writer/artist to use to their preference.

No.84926

I'm lazy so....

Happy hunting. After work I can probably look around /rs/ or someone else will. I dunno.

That's some vicious irony.
