New screenshots! And episode titles!:

"The Diving Bell Vs. The Butter-glider"
"Pomp & Circuitry"
"Every Which Way But Zeus"
"Everybody Comes to Hank's"
"Bright Lights, Dean City"
"Assisted Suicide"
"The Silent Partners"
"Operation: P.R.O.M."

Thoughts:
- Fuck yeah, Girl Hitler.
- The suit Dean is wearing looks suspiciously like Lupin III's

I got a pal whose super mad over that Spider-Man-ish character since he came up with an "original character, Do not steal" as a joke...then he saw that picture, the tears were delicious, pretty much has the same costume and everything.

Theirs is more like the original concept of him.
It sucks too because I was finally working on it.
Hopefully he's just, "The Recluse" or something.

Some new images, info, and a clip here:
http://www.wired.com/underwire/2010/09/venture-bros/?pid=871&viewall=true

To summarize:
- We're getting a fifth season, but probably not anytime soon.
- Dean sits on an anthill.
- Hatred is still the boys' bodyguard, Brock still isn't, but they're both going to try and coexist.
- Phantom Limb returns. Monstroso returns. White and Billy start spending their "insurance money." Some people kill each other and some other people kiss each other.

Can't wait til Sunday.

I have a friend who was introduced to the show at the tail end of Season Three and has only recently finished Four-Oh. I've been pondering how freaky it will be when she backtracks and sees three seasons of Twenty-One and Twenty-Four just palling around obliviously. Also, it only just occurred to me that she's never seen Sheila in her Jackie Kennedy getup, which is bizarre.

The "adult" humor isn't really her thing (there's at least one joke per episode that just makes her cringe), but the characters and setting are too engaging for her to ever drop it. She just loves deconstructionism.

It's Jackson and Doc's fault. They typically write like, 74 minute episodes and then trim from the script down to a timeslot-workable animation script.

And they cut the action stuff, because Hank and Dean quoting old commercials to annoy Brock is something they think is less hassle-y to get animated.

Listen... If it turns out New Guy (I think I;ll just call him Darklon from now on, because his mask looks vaguely like Darklon's) IS a returning character... there's a much more viable option.

Someone reasonably competent enough to get a decent reference for Gathers.
Someone whom we never saw die.
Someone who overestimates their abilities just a touch and has had it bite him in the ass before.
Someone of more or less generic physique.

Face it, boyos, he's Scott Hall

No.94746
>>94728
I was thinking that too.

I liked the theory the Old /co/ldier on the regular /co/ proposed: that Brock spares those who can put up a good fight with him, hence why he didn't bother killing 21.

might be

A.A burdening personality disorder that all villains go through.
B.24 is actually some kinda being on the same scale as Killinger but operates in more subtle ways (he was the hench that Monarch was talking to before he started Arching on his own) And this is his way of crafting villains.

Dean's top four dream jobs are as follows:
1. Boy Reporter
2. Boy Detective
3. Marine Biologist
4. Husband

His original #5 was Arichiare (spelling?), aka a type of Gladiator, but he erased it when Hank said it was a gaylord gladiator. Doc wrote in Super Scientist for Dean's #5.

I personally like that Hank put down Batman twice intentionally on his dream jobs list because he couldn't really decide between the two different kinds of Batman he wanted to be.

/I loved Hank's super-spy testing sequence, btw.
