HA! Getting better from the first to the second.
I was wondering when someone would make a thread for this.Favorite line: "Arrest them, even though I have no jurisdiction here!"
Heh looks like Velma has had problems in the past taking second to animals.
did the old thread die? I just want to reiterate, I can't believe I passed on this show for so long. Fuckin hilarious, and the backgrounds and cinematography are pretty great to boot, I honestly think it would benefit from being an hour long.God those colours during the gator attack scene in the hotel. unf
>>75976That would be interesting maybe just make a fark ton of hour long specials like they do in Japan.
>>75978I like that they didn't have Shaggy be totally oblivious to the fact that he was being unfair to Velma. Also that Daphne's parents don't go out at night.
>>75982 Even though Shaggy is the broest of bros trying to find some middle ground between friendship and Velma I still hate him for not taking up her obvious offer in the hotel. Velma’s a damn animal with her emotions, JUST DO IT ALREADY. This series is doing nothing but blue balling the best interpretation of both girls and I don't know if I can take this.
Fred's big book of traps
>>75993
>>75976>did the old thread die?The one for the pilot? Yeah, a pretty long time ago. The last discussion wasn't in that thread, it was in the reaction face one.
Is the second episode up anywhere?
>>759994chan's /rs/
>>75995Scooblocked?
Know what velma should do? Dress as a burger. She'd get the boys attention easily.
>>76001Having a little trouble finding it on there. What is the episode called?
HOLY SHIT SHAGGY DID SOMETHING HEROIC
FUUUUCK ME RUNNING FRED'S TRAP JUST WORKED
>>76022CreepingCreatures >>76023>>76024indeed This rocks!!
Is that the family from National Lampoon's Vacation?
For those who don't want to go to /rs/, here's the linkhttp://www.megaupload.com/?d=frz8xlux
Just watched this. Goddammit this is awesome. The recliner and stilllife night made me crack up hard, as did so much else.
>>76045Happen to have the one prior to this?
GATOR MINES
>>76029The dad DID remind me of Chevy Chase.
>>76102Yeah, I wonder if the writers were thinking "Oh wait, alligators don't live in a climate anything like this... fuck it, HAVE THEM COME FROM MINES!"
>>76097Yes, actually...if the previous one is the pilot / first episodehttp://www.mediafire.com/?9s5t0osd294bbyd
>Mister E>MysteryHa!
I love how they set it all in the 70's
>>76124Can't be. They have cellphones.
>>76128And GPS.
>>76128>>7612970's with modern tech.
>>76130Oh, you mean like this then?
>>76131
>>76132
Living in Sweden, I need to watch this online. Could anyone help me find some streams?Failing that, perhaps someone knows of a torrent that compiles the first batch of episodes? Single-episode torrents is a drag.
>>76134There's really only two episodes out right now:, it wouldn't take long to download them.#1: http://www.mediafire.com/?nj5kayghdmy#2: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=frz8xlux
>>76124>>76128>>76129>>76131>>76132>>76133GUYS, guys. Clearly this new scooby doo cartoon is a new setting. Cyber-Funk.
>>76131>>76132>>76133the hell....damn that is how fast technology should have been traveling and we would have flying cars by now.
>>76136I can dig it.
>>76136groovie.>>75966why has there yet to be a penis shooped to this?
>>76136>Cyber-Funk...I need to pitch this to /tg/.
>>76131Is this shit real?Because FUCK ipod, I want one of these.
>>76144After extensive googling, I see no one actually tried making these.Fuck.
>>76145The Hi-Fi mp3 would be the shit. Also their Laptop design looks awesome FUCK YEA WOOD PANELING!!!
>>76146And a roller-ball mouse!
>>76135Thank you sincerely. I needed that cleared up.
>>76146The Wood Age was a good age.>>76133 I'm ready to play some Pung!
I just watched the new episode, and I'm wondering...Was that Chevy Chase in the beginning?
>>76150No problem.>>76147Trackball, actually.Which makes me a bit nostalgic for the last time I used one....which was really not too long ago, since my high school used then instead of mice.
>>76154Really? The last time I saw one of those was in an old golfing arcade game in a restaurant. Though I honestly kind of wish I had one of those on my laptop instead of a pad.
>>76159I don't. Analog pointing devices were a pain to clean. Also, rather slow.
>>76160You can up the sensitivity to make it faster...like my friend who always turns it way up so even the simplest movement requires intense concentration.
>>76160Yea I remember that someone had made a laser trackball mouse but it had problems with grooves getting into the ball
>>76163there were lots of grooves during the 70's
>>76271I blame it on the boogie
>>76273 Awwww Yeah.Anyways, this episode was pretty great. More of the Gang being exactly what I loved about the first episode and the absolute insanity of Gatorburg. I just lost it at "Gator Mines."
Fucking love this show and I was never a huge Scooby Doo fan to begin with. >>75966 HE JUST READS IT FOR THE ARTICLES GUYS, GOSH.
Absolutely amazing. My only gripe is that it's a plot point that imitation gator belts cause Daphne to immediately and painfully break out, but the very next scene we see her handling them as part of the trap, bare-handed, with no ill consequences. CONTINUITY OI
>>76470forearms are more sensitive than hands cop out but does make some sense
>>76482 Well she already explained the rash as it was some common ailment so maybe she took some kind of medicine that provided a temporary boosted immunity while getting rid of the infection? The show likely included the error just to draw out the nerd in everyone watching.
http://www.mediafire.com/?8kcd9t1bzonhl81New Ep
>>77024 I love the ascot scene. Fred's a people person; he finds common ground in even the biggest jerks and bonds with them.
>>77025Or he's actually gay like all those years of ascot wearing should have told us.
This series is the best thing to happen to the Scooby Doo franchise since... ever. Also, I eagerly await the inevitable TRAPS TRAPS EVERYWHERE macro.
This link has failed me and has made me most sad. Might there be another?
Awwwwww she sad
I LOVE THE LITTLE 80'S HORROR SOUNDTRACK SPICE OVER THE BACKROUND!THIS WEEK FLAVOR PROVIDED BY MICHEAL MYERS!
this show is a dream come trueI love Velma
>>77068 I've never felt anything for Daphne, what the hell Mystery Inc. Stop making me sad with sad Grey DeLisle.
>>77040Well, he DOES like traps a lot....
>>77041That macro has been around for a while.
>>77024Aww, invalid.
Try this one.http://www.mediafire.com/?043t2t33avubwo4
>>77087 Oh yeah, the music was brilliant.I will say I didn't find it as funny as the other episodes, but it wasn't bad.I also have the feeling this was meant to be episode 2 instead of the Creeping Creatures.
>>77220 I didn't find it as funny either, but the chase scenes were good. The shark tank and the nose patch were funny.
I didn't get to see the latest episode.Y'know, I love how Velma and Shaggy are becoming a "thang" but I just don't like how Velma's character is turning out. She's got quite a tude and just isn't bookish. Could be just me though.
Did anyone notice the animation was kind of choppy at some points?Especially with how the vehicles did stuff that seems not only physically impossible but just don't make any visual sense? Most obviously a freaking 18 wheeler accelerating to at least 100 km/h in like half a second despite pulling out of park with a U-turn or when the Mystery Machine suddenly went from full speed forward to full speed reverse instantaneously?
>>77434...are you seriously questioning the physics of a world where Fred can set up a working Rube Goldberg trap that ends in a fucking SHARK TANK.
>>77437 The shark tank was already there, Fred was just using what materials he had. He really just built a crank and pulley system strong enough to lift a modified truck.
>>77459My point was that people who watch series that function through a palpable suspension of disbelief and then try to nitpick the physics are obtuse and annoying.
>>77129Real quick, can I please have someone toss me off the crazy wagon here?At 7:00 there's a thing where the truck hits them, please tell me if Velma is saying, "Somebody should tell the neckbeard driving that truck to dial it back."
>>77527yes
>>77527Yep that's what she says. We're getting to a stage where /co/mrades, or at the very least retired /b/tards, are making cartoons. Chowder said 'the cake was a lie' once, and Adventure Time is full of meme influences. >>77417I know what you mean. She seems like she had more of a personality disorder than just plain geeky reclusiveness to make her as weird as she is
>>77573 The monster museum pretty much shows how much of a hellion she is which may be why Shaggy is as skittish as he is to kiss her. She's more obsessive stalker then aggressive girl friend.
>>77574I think Shaggy is just so connected to and neurotic about Scooby that it's really hard for Velma to get Shaggy away from Scooby but still not be to worried about it that he can't enjoy his girlfriend. They haven't said but I get the feeling that this has only really happened once, which is why Velma is so frustrated and persistent
>>77437No, I'm saying it just doesn't look right. Not even with cartoon physics. It's like how in action movies, no one ever survives a point-blank explosion even though they might as well do it all the time considering how close people can get to one without getting hurt at all.I know a little catapult like that couldn't have possibly flipped an 18-wheeler and don't care, but do care when the movement of objects.seem flat out unnatural. It's more about what look like animations errors than just being unrealistic--there was also the part where the waitress put the fries on Daphne's table and the movement of her hand doesn't match the movement of the object she's suppose to be carrying, making it look like it floated onto the table.
>>77600hmmm it looks like they forgot a couple of frames
>>77610
>>77612
>>77613maybe they attempted to carry it through with the waitress model but it ended up looking too unnatural (which would explain Daph's expression or that could be explained with it being another waitress model that was later switched)
>>77616Maybe it was an Elvira model and it was latter nixed for being too..giggly
>>76102 The newest Team Fortress 2 stage.
>>77600Hey its hard to find a cartoon without animation errors especially if they actually draw shit instead of using static flash character models. Nothings perfect and honestly I wouldn't be that concerned with little things like that. Its just something you have to accept with cartoons. I mean did you ever watch the original Transformers? They would reuse animation of the transformations so much they would sometimes put it in backwards. One time Prime was a robot, the you saw him transform from a truck into a robot, then he was a truck. All things considered I'd say we're lucky with this one
"Let's go gang, there's nothing to trap here!"
Movie Series about Future Fred
So I wonder if Mister E is Fred's dad. He was just about the only guy to notice Daphne picked up the key. Also, for all that Fred is likely gay or trapsexual, the times when he tries to protect Daphne make me smile.
Holy crap, we're getting a crossover of this and Brave and the Bold before that show ends.
>>79080A bah-wuh?You mean like an upgraded version of the Scooby-Doo Movies?
>>79082Yeshttp://www.comicsonline.com/node/1255
