This kinda has me thinking how little is the bare minimum, I mean, can slapping on body paint be a costume? but then again hero's attire has always been had it's share of minimalists like Tarzan.

So I guess it's not surprising for a jungle hero, it's just kinda throwing me off because I'm so not used to it.

I guess it's pretty good in terms of where the design was coming from, and the new design is undoubtedly more intimidating.

I dunno, I figured Ross of all people would go with a spruce up on the classic design, but i of all people know he's not as much of a nostalgia fan as people make him out to be.

And it could have been worse, like those black V pants he puts on every Superhero he redesigns.

It's definitely part of his costume now, he constantly looks dipped in war paint/blood. Which again isn't bad, I just gotta get used to it, as long as the story is good it's good.

And here's my thoughts, which i've always had about the costume, having a really strong blue colour in the jungle would conceal him pretty well, and he's always looked like a witch doctor (or atleast along those lines) to me, especially with all the skulls and statues of him all over the place.

You can never go far enough with a character, there's always a beyond to every good character.

I read a lot of Phantom when i was a kid, i still do.. seeing his kids grow from babbies to teenagers to well, i reckon adults some time in the future, it's a grand thing.

And all the Phantoms die young, every single one.. even Julie Walker.
