Old one's autosaging.Boxer Hockey fans will probably enjoy this. I personally could not stop laughing at the credits including "The Girl From Epanema" in them.
Hey, I finally found out what the thing in the last episode of Courage the Cowardly Dog in Courage's first dream was supposed to be: it's not a fetus, it's Eustace's trumpet which Courage broke earlier in the episode.

>>84623get him to come to +/co/
>>84623Well now.
>>84623Tell Dan Slot that I apologize for not pulling his Thing.
Shun the nonbeliever!Nah that's nifty though.
This is the funniest thing I have ever read.
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!DAMN YOU NOSTALGIA!WHY COULD THIS NOT LOOK LIKE IT DID IN MY MEMORY?series is still as good as I remember though, it's just the intro that aged so poorly.
>>84727That's a pretty early version of the introAlso, IMO the series did age animation-wise at pretty badly. Very noticeable in the later seasons
>>84750explosions ftw.
>>84750Hmm, neat, well, I haven't gotten into the latter stuff yet, so maybe it's not sticking out as bad as I think.
>>84727dat lens flare
Oh hey, in that massive Barrage of Thor minis coming out is a mini by the team who did the 2004 Loki miniseries. Which is probably my favorite Thor story ever.So I guess I'm going to be getting TWO Thor ongoings, and Two Thor miniseries (I'm getting Ultimate Thor too)So I guess my decision to get into Thor really WAS an adequate replacement for dropping the 3x a month ASM.
>>84750is it me, or do Spider-Man cartoons tend to have pretty good music?
>>85832
>>85832This is true.
So I finally started reading Savage Dragon, great series, pacing is HYPER jumpy at first, but you get used to it, I like that the series doesn't beat you with pointless details and cuts to the chase without leaving out the important bits but HOLY SHIT, Here I was thinking Overlord was a shitty image Doom/Magneto Amalgam, so far it seems I was right, except about the shitty part....HOLY FUCK.
>>86143is that Iron Man using Dr Doom magic?!
>>86155Umm, I guess he might as well be, OVERLORD DOESN'T FUCK AROUND.In the fight he has with savage Dragon, it's INCREDIBLY lob-sided, He blasts a hole through Dragon's guts, roasts his hand off and send him flying out a sky-scraper to be impaled on a church roof.....Then spouts the kind of line I thought only Doom could say without it being cheesy.
>is that Iron Man using Dr Doom magic?!And if it is, can we have that for the next movie? "Tony Stark has been kidnapped, tortured, shot, blown up and punched the equivalent of five city blocks. But this time...he's actually kind of got himself into trouble."
This is one of the most insane confrontations I've ever seen in comics. The emotion on the page with context is stunning.
>>86143I've heard comparisons to One Piece. I've read very little Dragon (and barely much more One Piece) so that just got kind of a "huh?" out of me. Is the comparison about right?
>>86188In terms of flat out bizarreness, Amazing fights and great story? Yeah, I could see it being likened to One Piece.Otherwise they are two very different very different beasts.
I wonder if Andrew Hussie and Zach Weiner both because hilariously funny out of necessity. When you have last names like that as a kid, I figure you either learn to be funny or suffer hell.
>>86308This would suggest there's an alternate universe where Andrew Hussie acts just like Andy Dick.
Wait, Jarvis is gay?Huh.
>>86413Only Ultimate Jarvis. Regular Jarvis even dated Aunt May for a time.
>>86419How did they reveal it? Did he just go "lol I'm gay" or something?I mean, the fact that they'd mention the sexuality of a dude over 50 at all is pretty weird. We like to pretend old people don't have sex.
>>86421You're a terrible person.
>>86421Are you completely unaware of the "aging gay gentleman" archetype?
What's sick is that when Shooter was running the show, he okayed Howard sticking his quacker into Beverly and a Dracula pedobear story (both in the B&W mags), but wouldn't let Byrne say outright that Northstar was gay. If you read between the lines in Alpha Flight v1 #8, Byrne actually did a decent job of encoding the revelation.
For Anonex and Pablo.
Spider-Man fans are Webheads, Ghost Rider fans are Flameheads...why hasn't "Hammerheads" caught on for Thor fans?
>>86630Huh, I never knew that about Ghost Rider fans. But yeah, good question. Just gotta try to get that to spread, I guess! ("Thunderheads" might work, too.)
>>86633Though I've always wanted something that involved "Dolts."
>>86630Ghost Rider has a fanbase worthy of a nickname and Thor doesn't?I am mildly disappoint.
>Oh sweet, The Ricky Gervais Show is on soon>Switch TV on>It's The Cleveland Show>It's not even on afterwards>Fuck you IBA, stop shitting with the good stuff
I never understood the whole waifu thing until now.Oh Jill
>>86659 I was getting interested in the style and presentation until I learned it involved zombies and stopped caring.
>>86665Understandable. The comic's great, but zombies are hard not to be sick of.
>>86665>>86685I know how you feel. Recently I heard about a suspense/horror novel in which vampires have taken over, the few human survivors living either as enslaved livestock or in scarce settlements scattered across the wasteland. It sounded interesting to me, since the idea of vampire overlords hasn't been played with much and supposedly the whole thing was very well-written and powerfully disturbing. The catch was, however, that the vampires were created by a virus that the government concocted to turn everyone into immortal super-soldiers.I just don't need another story like that. No one does.
The married life is so difficult.
Someone set Mr. Lodge's evil meter to high in both universes.
>>86788>>86791what the fuck am I reading
>>86823The two Alternate Universes of Archie Comics. One in which he married Veronica and the other in which he Married Betty both of which have an evil Lodge from the looks of it.
>>86823Archie's all grown up now, married to Veronica or Betty.
http://www.comicsalliance.com/2010/08/10/archie-married-life-betty-veronica/This article explains it the best. It looks like a Teen/Tween magazine, but the comics are about how soul-crushing adult life is.
>>87003I have got to get these.
>>86659Me neither, until Vriska. :3
so uh the boxer hockey walkimation was taken down
