I maintain my position that tilapia is god-tier, but scallops certainly join it there.

I'd eat that real good.

I'm starting to think maybe I shouldn't "shop" for food, I should take daily or at least bi-weekly trips to the grocer to get tiny quantities of food in order to prepare meals. The more I look at /ck/ lately, the more I feel like I should stop eating macaroni and cheese with ketchup and tapeworm food.

when cooked right, this fish is god tier.

once when i was up in the tropics we had to stop the night in this little town. the place we stopped had a lake they kept stocked with em.

the way the cooked it was justt... mmmm so fucking good...

hope we stay there again on the next trip

No.3439

That sounds like a good idea. It's hard to keep produce fresh for longer than a couple days, so frequent small trips are better than going once every week or so and then throwing stuff out.

If you're really close to a grocer and you don't do this already you should.

>tilapia

Tilapia: a cheap African fish, and the tilapia sold in the U.S. is most often raised in toxic puddles in China. Also:

Farm-raised Tilapia (the least expensive and most popular) has a high fat content and, according to a new study by researchers at the Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center, suggests that farm-raised tilapia may be worse for the heart than eating bacon or a hamburger

Tilapia is below shit-tier.

I don't eat to live longer, or stress the grossness of what I'm eating, I eat because food is fucking good and it might be bad for me if I stopped.

Tilapia, despite how disgusting it may be raised, is fucking good.

Hell, I eat crawfish, and like 40% of what you're eating when you eat crawfish is guts, brains, and whatever was in their digestive tract when they were caught.

>I don't eat to live longer
Okay maybe I phrased that badly. Should maybe be "I don't eat things just cause they're a bit unhealthy for me."

...My point got across though.

It would have been, yes.
But that doesn't occur to me in my sleep-deprived deliriums.
