Speak your mind threads! Hit Autosage on one and two more appear! In other news I just handed in a job application for a job for my college print department. Less customers, better hours, more wages. Yes please.
>>271739There's some place that a friend of mine was recommending, I'll have to get the name of it from her again. There's also the place you were talking about, not for boots, just general shoppery.Thinking about hitting up Square One sometime, if only because I kinda want to get a little plush Tiger shark and run a contest or something on my site to win it.
>>271739Oh, you are only a baby, I am sorry for yelling at you for being annoying, I didn't know you weren't an adult yet. I take back some of the mean things I have said about you.
>>271741Oh man, you're not a jerk who makes leaps in logic, you just have poor reading comprehension.I'm so sorry.>>271740Square One requires taking Mississauga transit. Don't know if want.... Though we should really go there and do some preshopping to nail down sizes before going to Orfus since they often don't have fitting rooms and different brands/materials/cuts give different sizes.
>>271742Nope. Neither of those things are true, and I'm not even remotely sure you know what I am talking about. Especially if you think I mean on here, because I don't say anything to you on here, I just ignore you.
ugh, can I complain about my family a little? My sister and her husband are thinking of divorcing. of course they involved both their mothers on it, and now my mom has been weeping on the phone with both of them, apologizing to each one for each other, yelling at my sister for having slept with him before they got married and then yelling at her son-in-law because since he took my sister's virginity, he's completely ruined her and now if he divorces her she'll be a worthless adulteress and he'll be a rapist or something, before begging and crying and telling him to please not do this to her baby. also she pretty much slut-shamed them into getting married in the first place. how have I lived in this house for so long and not completely lost my mind yet?
I can't think of Mayekoi's relationship with that dealer without imagining a Scott Pilgrim parody.
>>271745Ouch.Condolences.
>>271745That's a really lousy situation, comrade. Stay sane.
>>271746funfact: that dude is my third ex and vegan.Had a good laugh when we saw the movie.
So, I'm trying to get into Mutants and Masterminds, right? The DC Adventures/3.0e versions? But the new character creation rules are throwing me through a loop. Is anyone familiar enough to give me a crash course, or does anyone know where I can find an online generator to make the whole thing easier?
:3
Fuckin' Best Buy DVD section. No Gurren Lagann, no Home Movies, no Harvey Birdman. I guess I'm going to FYE tomorrow.
What the fuck am I watching?
>>271757I don't know you, but I'm very, very sorry. You have my most sincere condolences.
>>271756A terrible, terrible movie.
>>271756Hey my dad is watching that.
>>271760It is. It really, really is.>>271761Then your father shares my pain.
>>271762Oh God the ending I'm laughing so hard.Oh man that's the lamest thing ever oh wow.
>>271756Drop that shit and get yourself Tombstone if you want a good modern western.
>>271766Fuckdammit.
>>271766Aaawww, it has it's father's eyes and it's mothers smile. My dreams have been really vivid lately. It's bothersome.
>>271765Eh, 'Dead Man's Gun' is on.
>>271651The ground is useful in case something goes horribly wrong inside your computer and you've suddenly got power going to the case or something. It's a failsafe so you don't kill yourself by picking it up.However, until you encounter a situation where you need a grounded wire, the ground is pretty unnecessary. Use it for now, pick up a new charger soon.
>>271766Where does this guy fit in?
>>271773If you like Westerns, Tombstone is worth going well out of your way for. Val Kilmer steals the show as Doc Holliday.
>>271776Oh, I've seen it, don't worry about that.I've never seen 'Dead Man's Gun', though; it's really good.
>>271745I feel your pain on the familial fault. It's not in crisis stage yet, but the build up until something, somewhere, has to break. My dad's liver is hanging on by a thread and he has a hernia he hasn't gotten fixed for A YEAR. Plus, his abrasiveness has earned him some enemies. My mom has chronic fatigue/hypothyroid and is getting MS on top of all that. Little bro still has Down Syndrome, is half deaf from chronic ear infections and is obese from my parents placating him with food. >>271776Tombstone, man. It's one of those perfect movies. And the only good movie to ever feature a 90210 alumn.
>>271778well damn, Tora, sounds like you've got much more troubles than me.
Hmm, my internet has been chuggy lately. I hope someone isn't leeching off of me. Guess I'll change the password just in case though. Now I need to remember how to do that.
I'm culturing my roommates in the arts of the Gregory Brothers. Anything else I should work on while I have their attention? I don't think they're into webcomics.

Stuck at home for tonight to get the stuff I forgot in the move. I remember why I couldn't wait to move away now. However, I finished my review of Machete, which will hopefully go online Wednesday. I like doing movie reviews, but I guess I don't see enough of them that often to be considered a credible critic.Back to comics stuff for a new site on Wednesday; I finished a post about Kenk:A Graphic Portrait for ComicAttack.net on the weekend, and will be writing something about Thor: The Mighty Avenger for Wednesday. Good series. But otherwise, moving into the new place and Orientation is stressful and a blur. I just want thinks to smooth out; however, I kind of miss the calamity of residence and first year. I mean, drinking every night (during frosh, at least) with pretty womens? Can't complain there.
>>271787good choice. applying video directly to forehead roommates.
>Relative: "Have you figured out what you want to go to school for yet? How about becoming a pediatrician or a teacher since you like children so much?">I... I am in school. I'm majoring in media illustration, remember?>"Yeah but that's just part time while you're working. You're going to a real college when you save up enough money and are done learning to draw right?">Um, no. This is what I want to do with my life and I've put too much money and time and effort into this to just quit.>"You have to pay for art school? That's ridiculous. Why not just settle down and be a stay-at-home mom?"
>>271792...Whaaaaat? That's some crazy shit, I don't even.
>>271792Are all your relatives from 1950?
>>271792Your relatives sound like mine when I say I want to become a teacher. :I No respect, even when I suggest I could become a professor.Well, know this. At least you have strange people you don't know over the internet rooting for you!woo
>>271792Also,>Implying you can be 'done' learning to draw
>>271792
>>271792That's terrible and I sympathize, but I can't help but go "lol oldschool." I ain't even mad. My teabagging grandparents (grandfather being a baptist minister) aren't even that oldskoo'.
>>271802I'm heading off to get dinner but I'm gonna want to deal with this picture later. What?
>>271795Yes but the good thing is this means they do not know how to internet. God forbid they ever got email it would be nothing but "SEND THIS TO EVERYONE YOU LOVE" chain emails with the shitty animated .gif images with the crying eagles and sparkles and angels and puppies and viruses. Also everyone who replied is awesome. And the fam wonders why I spend more time out with friends and on the computer than talking on the phone with people who "haven't seen you since you were a wee little thing you sound so grown up and mature I can't believe you graduated already you must be breaking all the young men's hearts" what does that last part even mean.
>>271805It means you're pretty and chaste.
GUH, hayfever is the worst.
>>271813AUGH. I know.I've been sneezing all day.
>>271813>>271814I've been coughing and sneezing all day err day.o/
>>271783 Imagine if AIDS were communicable by casual contact, and wasn't immediately lethal, but did cause a mild degree of brain damage and auto-immune disorders if untreated. And possibly as many as 10% of our current crop of young people might have it. All those kids with "autism", "ADD/ADHD", similar disorders, and its caused by the brain damage and tissue inflammation the viruses, allergic irritation, and auto-immune irritation the condition causes. And in adults it causes Chronic Fatigue and lupus, and may be related to types of cancer and diabetes. That's what we're on the crux of here. I know it sounds science fiction but its true. Look up NIDS, the XMRV retrovirus, HHV-6, and Parvovirus.
>>271796>I could become a professorI would take any class taught by you, Ferrous.
