This weekend my mom told me a story about my own life that I didn't know. A grade school bro of mine, Greg, had talked to her recently about the old times. My former best friend from grade school had turned on me at some point and would only hang out with me to use me for school projects. One time we had a field trip to a high school play. Before we had gotten to our seats, my former best friend had gathered the rest of the guy classmates except me and told them not to sit near me. (SEAT'S TAKEN.) Now let me tell you something. Before I heard this story, I could have sworn that all of them were sick of me. I was obnoxious and even I didn't have the patience for myself. Before my mom said anything else, all at once, I remembered that moment. All the guys, my teammates from basketball and soccer, my gaming buddies, had run over to me for some reason to high five me before we entered the hall. I didn't understand why they were so excited, but we sat together for the play and man was I happy to see them.All this time since 8th grade, I've avoided talking to them or hanging out with them in San Francisco because I thought they were still upset with me.
