There's good bodies everywhere if you know where to look, I saw a '69 camaro, ss going for fifteen hundred the other day but the only thing stopping me is my lack of real knowledge. I guess my goal for the year would be build up on my auto books, check out junkyards and auto wreckers and car shows a lot, talk to my dad's mechanic friends and spend more time in the shop.

New England. Suburban/rural. I do, technically, have feet-
but tell me. Honestly. Would you walk 10-24 miles to and from work for minimum wage? And them miles are just going to be stretched out once the snow hits.
Unless I find something local, and 'LOL' at that happening. Not impossible, but... not likely.

While I have no concept of how much distance that is, I think I would probably do it. I used to walk 1hour+ one way to my minimum wage job, in Ottawa winter. The walks home at midnight weren't pleasant, but now it's one of those things I can look on and say 'yeah, I actually managed that.'

1 mile = 5280 feet. Or about fifteen minutes of walking at an average human rate of 4.3 miles an hour.
Ten miles would therefore be two and a half hours. This assumes there's anything in Ellsworth hiring. Ellsworth is 12 miles away. 2:48 hours:minutes. Or a restroom break short of six hours every day spent walking to and from work.

Assuming Ellsworth didn't have anything (entirely possible, since NOTHING is hiring these days) we move on to Bangor. That's 41 miles from home.
Now lets see.. fifteen minutes for a mile. Fifteen times 41..
615 minutes. Or 10 hours walking. To get there.

No.268084
1 mile = 2 and a quarter kilometers = 2250 m = 4500 steps = 2 steps per second brisk pace = 37 minutes 30 seconds

1 mile = 37 minutes 30 seconds at a constant brisk pace

24 miles = 14 hours 48 minutes

I don't think you could reasonably make four miles per hour. That amounts to 6 feet per second, or roughly two yards/meters per heartbeat.

For 24 miles?
