but...I like the captcha.I just wish it was a little more comprehensible at times.
>>266116If one of the two words in recaptcha is unreadable, you can subtitute that word for anything you want (this also includes punctuated words, words with accents, symbols, foreign characters and numbers). For example, I always put 'dickbutt'.
Why are these threads stickied? I have no problems at all with 4chan, in contrast to this site. Then again, I only go there once or twice a week for pron.Protip: Just look at the pictures and don't read any text or make posts.
>>266133This is so every time someone gets banned/4chan goes down/moot fucks shit up//b/ raids a board/someone wants to bitch about how 4chan "isn't as good as it used to be" then you can come in here and post instead of everyone making their own thread.
>>266125That's because one of the two words is for testing your humanity and the other for cataloguing unreadable words from scanned documents for international library databases, if I remember correctly. You just replaced a word in a book or journal with "dickbutt". That's fucking great.
>>266133>Why are these posts stickied if I don't post in them?Well, I suppose we all knew NEET was a self-centered bastard, but still...
Anyone else tired of all the normalfags on 4chan? The place is getting boring.
>>266185>normalfags>4chanmaybe on /co/ but not really anywhere else bro
>>266190You don't get what I mean by "normalfag".You see, I used to go to /co/ and /v/ and the other boards because the opinions and discussions there weren't the kind you'd see in other parts of the internet. Nowadays, everyone on /co/ just apes the opinions of other comic boards, /v/ acts like GameFAQs, or other low-end gaming sites. /b/ is pretty much a direct parody of itself. Even knew boards went from being good, to bad, to very very bad in a short amount of time. It doesn't feel special or interesting anymore.I don't know many other places to go on the web anymore, though.
>>266192The word "normalfag" is a word for persons who are not into anime, manga, video gaming, comics/cartoons, or anyform of geekdom or otakudom.
>>266192 >everyone on /co/ just apes the opinions of other comic boards, /v/ acts like GameFAQsWe must be going to different websites.
what with /co/ getting so reactive whenever any debate goes onI'm sorry, not all opinions are created equal.whats worse is that its a false maturity because if some turribule artist for deviantart tried to do same thing EVERYONE on /co/ would jump them.
>>266127I love captchas.
>>266201But. Why is 4chan even appealing to these people? Why go on the internet at all?
>>266164I'm making history far more interesting for the generations yet to come.
Is 4chan loading super slow for anyone else?
>>266251Seems to be working fine for me.
I find the catchpas hilarious, but I rarely post anyways.
I've never had a funny captcha. :(
>>266223>>266201I was wondering the same thing. Every board on 4chan with the possible exception of /b/ is targeted directly towards some kind of geekdom/fandom/otakudom or another.Or are you just using the word "normalfags" to refer to the "casualfags" that are suddenly cool to complain about?
>>266418Answered your own questionNormalfags are people who cannot into 4chanGenerally (but not always) 60 year old people who stop by 4chan once because they heard about it on Fox News>casualfagsThat means something completely different
>Troll /b/>Get b&WHATTHEFUCKAMIREADING.jpgNo, really, what bullshit is this?
>>266654Forgot the image.Fuck.
>>266655/b/ has no rules outside the global rules.
>>266656I know, this includes the mods. But the fact that I was trolling (not even really, the fact that it pissed off anyone, let alone a MOD is incredible) and got b& from /b/ is silly as fuck.
>>266655>blackOh 4chan, stay classy.
>>266655What the fuck? What did you actually posted on /b/?
>>266664Basically I just spoke nigger.Like "nigga, wut language u think im speakin???"I got b& for typing like that as a joke.
>>266672Man I'm sorry for you for that. Maybe you won't even be tempted to go there anymore. Or you could get a dynamic IP.
>>266674I'm just gonna take a 2-day break and chill here and on 420chan. Hope the appeal goes through, since I got B& for TROLLING /b/.
>>266672Obligatory best bro backup
>>266677Awww shit, he figured out how to post!
>>266672Didn't actually mention trolling in the ban. Maybe it was a "lol u tk him 2da bar|?" thing.
>>266441But this poster >>266185 seemed to imply (lol, >implying) that there were a lot of them and they were hanging around. I didn't think he was talking about the people that show up once and never return.>>266684The global rules say that that kind of stuff is only acceptable in /b/.Also, according to the sticky on /co/, Dan Slott lurks 4chan. Just in case no one has seen it.
>>266719Also, 4chan mod firefox extention leak! Look at the buttons!
>>266719Indeed. Talking like that is acceptable on /b/.Undeserved ban is undeserved.
>>266764Is it possible to show prove that you are over 18 to a 4chan mod in your appeal?
>>266777Perhaps.I can't think of any real way, especially since it would be easy to forge.
>>266777Probably, if you think it's worth it to go through all the trouble. I got permabanned for being underage once. Three days later I was back in, and I've got a static IP. The site hadn't gone down, I hadn't appealed my ban... maybe they just allow random banned IP's back in?

>4chan drama
I never understood this, why does 4chan raid itself? Is it like they almost see themselves as waring nations now? Do they need an Ozymandias like fellow to step up and unite them against a threat that doesn't exist?Or have they just become so fucking stupid they think it's funny?
>>267520>Or have they just become so fucking stupid they think it's funny?bingo

Don't panic, but it's down.
Aaaand, it's back.
Seems like an apt depiction of /a/
and how exactly will this Kimmo guy save 4chan?
>>268715have you even read watchmen?i'll take that as a no. Ozymandias changed the world for hte better by destroying a fair sized chunk of it, uniting the warring countries against a common foe
>>268719Except the comic strongly implies that all he did was buy the world some extra time. He really murdered all those people for no real good reason.

>>268719I have read watchmen. I just wonder how can Kimmo antagonize anything to 4chan.

>>268955>mon visage
>>268979>>Meine Gesicht.
>>268988>mi cara
>>268955You know what's really strange...moot actually enjoys >my face when threads. He actually thought it was amusing. If he thinks so, why has he not told the /sp/ mod that? Why can't he remove the autoban?
>>269020Because he has stated he has nothing to do with what the mods do on /sp/ and he isn't going to intervene with them.Aka: Moot doesn't really care about /sp/
why does /co/ scare away the drawfags?
>>269123/co/ as a whole loves its drawfags. It just has a few individuals who've admitted that if they can't have their petty little requests catered to, they find no problem in making it so nobody else can, either.Plus4 is the place to go for /co/mrade drawfags that want to hock their art, because here the mod(s) actually pay enough attention to ban the little shits.
>>269067Oh my god...that means the 4chan mods are unaccountable and he will not do anything about it. What is worse is that only a few moderators can be contacted. Why won't moot intervene anyway?
>>269149I dunno. There is a screenshot floating around out there of a /sp/artan asking moot on /b/ why he banned mfw and he says he had nothing to do with it and it was the mod's deal.
Ahh, found it.
And here is the fat weeaboo mod saying /sp/ is both worse than /a/ and /v/.
>>269196>and people seem to think that they can post "teen threads" in /s/ latelyGee, I wonder where they'd get an idea like that?
People on 4chan following rules?LOLOLOL- seriously though.I wish people would be less idiotic.

>>269447Never mind it's back
>>269445Yep happening right now
/g/ confirmed for /b3/ today.
What does automated posting mean?
>>269603Some kind of bot posting. It's meant to keep out spammers but can also catch people using an image dumper, for example.I take it you got a ban?
>>269612Yeah I got banned. My bro uses an image dumper, I think. Does this "automated posting" include like two computers with the same IP address spamming?
>>269614I doubt it. At least, not that by itself., because that has to be a fairly common occurrence.
>>269614I was banned as well today for auto-posted/you have a virus - except I've scanned clear twice before and after the ban and don't use an auto-image dumper. Color me confused.
>>269711Most likely a range of addresses was b& and yours fell within. Friendly fire.
>>269196>And here is the fat weeaboo mod saying /sp/ is both worse than /a/ and /v/.This can't be him in this picture. Goddamn it, it can't be!
>>269835That reminds me, I need to clean my room. At least I don't have that loser stink clinging to everything.

Welp, I thought I'd be the only *chantard at a small university in Florida. Because of a namefag dicking around another board with /b/-shit, I get banned.I hate this ban especially more since I was in /sp/ talking with a few Raysbros about why our attendance sucks.
>>269981The mods are definitely on a powertrip! Well, I'm going to do a big reveal within the next 24-48 hours. It has to do with team4chan (the moderation team) and it's something big and you will be shocked.
>>269988Apparently I wrote an appeal, but when I F5'd the page, said namefag wrote his excuse of posting hardcore doujin. Now I feel uneasy about going to this school...

>>269981>assuming you're the only chantard in any collegeI go to the most middle-of-nowhere never-heard-of-it community college in my state, and at least two namefags and a few anons have been banned since I've been there ending with a permaban earlier this year. They are everywhere. Everywhere. Everywhere.
>>270403The community college I went to a while back was initially permabanned because somebody posted some "see pee" from the school's connection, but I guess the school reset the IP a few months later and I was able to post again.>>270394FGCU. Yep...
>Anon is spamming pictures of Pigs in a "3D Pig Disgusting" thread.>The pigs are actually cute little piglets.
>>270406This is what you get for not going to CGNU instead.
>>269988Remember what I said about this? This is me. You want to know what's the real problem with 4chan, it isn't /b/, it's the moderators themselves.I got this from someone close to team4chan. In this case, a former member of team4chan. All of 4chan's 21 moderators are moot's buddies, all of them. You may read on a New York Times article that there are 30 moderators of all of 4chan. But in reality there are 21 moderators and 9 janitors. Worst, they are all unaccountable.
>>270795That's the big reveal ? Why should it be shocking and why would you wait 24-48 hours to post this ?
>>270808I have a life, and sometimes life happens. Also I was busy with a lot of stuff too. If you want to know learn more I can spill everything I know.
>>270841If by "buddies" you mean they exchange regularly on IRC or MSN and by "unaccountable" that there's no counter-power, barely anything you can do when banned and moot only supervises loosely what they do, well I didn't exactly learn something here.
>>270808>>270795Not only is that not shocking, but moot has said on several occasions that he only makes people he knows personally moderators. So it's not a reveal, either.I'm not sure I believe your claim that there are only 9 janitors. In the 2006 4chan panel at otakon, like half the audience revealed themselves as janitors.
>>270887So it was really all a cover...so it's really true. It's all nepotism as suspected. But do some of the janitors actually become moderators? Then what's the point of janitorialship if you're never going to be a mod for 4chan. I bet most of the 4chan userbase who visited the site for the first time since the 2006 panel do not even know about this. As for the janitors, that was 2006. This is 2010, moot said there were 30 moderators. From a actual 4chan mod on irc: 21 moderators. Subtract the 21 mods from 30 and you get nine. That means there are nine janitors.>>270879You know what's worse, complaining about action a mod on IRC, and sending in the proof via chatlogs will do you no good, trust me I've been there. What's even worse, I heard from the same guy that moot does not care much about 4chan since the announcement of Canvas Networks. Yes, that's right he does not care much about the site much anymore. And I bet at this point 4chan would be sold (Which would get rid of the current problems) or (the possible worst case) shut down 4chan itself. He's planning to launch Canvas networks in the fall of this year.
>In this threadYOU GUYS, I NO THU SECRATI HAVE A BEEG REVEEL4CHAN IS HAWRIBBLEOH GOD CONSPIRARACY CONSPIRARACY
>>271105What's with you?
>>271105Did you... did you just sage a sticky?
Probably it’s best to start all over from the beginning. You know what’s the real problem with 4chan? It’s not /b/ nor the /b/tards. It’s not the content, nor the 4channers themselves. The real problem is the moderators and the moderation system itself. You know WT Snacks? The member of team4chan that quit over a big argument with moot regarding the site? Guess what, I know him through a different name. Again, from him all of 4chan’s moderators, 21 in all, are moot’s buddies. You may read on a New York Times article that there are 30 moderators of all of 4chan. But in reality there are 21 moderators and 9 janitors. So instead of moderators that come from the 4chan community who know the content of the site and are into the community, you get moderators that may have not visited 4chan at all. The biggest thing is that they are all unaccountable to the users, and since they are moots buddies he refuses to intervene in any of the decisions at all. This creates a conflict of interest.Another problem is the moderation system itself. The moderation system and style of 4chan comes straight from the Something Awful Forums. As a matter of fact, it’s worse than the something awful forums moderation system. Before 2004, the SA mods only had a few options when dealing with rule breakers: Delete, lock, ban, and permaban. Guess which one is used the most. Nowadays, the SA forums just probate you for a certain amount of time if you break a rule and only ban you if you have a pattern of probations. Permabans are actually rare. Now with 4chan’s moderation system, it’s much worse. Mods only have two options: Delete or ban. (Again, guess which one they use the most)That’s it. Warnings rarely happen, thread locks almost rather occur. In my opinion, that’s really a bad way run a forum. In my opinion, I rather ban users who commit a pattern of abuse on the imageboards, and lock bad threads so that users will get a heads up warning of what content actually violates the rules and remind them on the thread. Only offensive content should be deleted. In small *chan sites, sure you can moderate it with a few friends of yours. But as it gets bigger, any normal admin has to choose moderators directly from the community, even if it means tripfags. But in 4chan’s case, it’s gotten too big for one administrator and he has ran out of any of his friends that can run the site. Another problem which I will refer is 4chan itself. The site has gotten too big for him, and the website is still to this day understaffed. In my opinion, 4chan needs 40 more moderators to keep up with the growth. Problem is that with the rate of the mod selection he does, it will be still understaffed. And it will remain understaffed because moot does not care much about 4chan anymore since he announced canvas networks. So there will be no more major improvements to 4chan, no janitor recruitment round. This is THE long goodbye and this is THE transitional phase. After Canvas Networks is launched, two things will happen to 4chan: It will be shut down and will create the first ever anonymous-imageboard Diaspora (Which is good possibility, because there are many imageboards out there since the launch of 4chan). The second possibility is that 4chan may be sold to a person who has a interest in it. If this happens, which I actually hope it will, the real problem will be solved and there would be people who know the imageboard culture because they participated in it. >>270841 I’m afraid you’re correct. Even if you write a email to him complaining about a particular moderator action you witness, moot will not get involved. Even in the most serious cases, he will not get involved. It may not surprise you, but it was surprising to me since I started going to the site in 2008. >>270887The real reason for that comes from another source, another former team4chan member. He said that when the moot hired the first moderation team for 4chan, they got lazy and did not do their jobs. He suggested reducing the moderators role as janitors, only deleting rule-breaking content. But the team4chan (read: moot’s friends) were opposed to it. So he created the janitors anyway, and he uses the janitor program to find out who can he trust the most. Essentially who gets to be moot’s buddy gets the mod job. So basically its nepotism, and it creates a conflict-of-interest when there is a complaint against a moderator on a board.
>>271357>quote self>I'm afraid you're correct.
>>271357I propose a revolution.
I also forgot to tell you that moot does not like memes anymore, nor /b/ nor it's /b/tards. He does not like 4chan anymore and wants to pull away. That is why he started the Canvas startup.>>271360Damn, I screwed up a bit. But the information I said is true.>>271361The only way to do a revolution at this point is vote with our feet, or in this case our computer mouses. There are other imageboards out there on the internet that could use some love. They might not be normal-moving as 4chan but they can be with enough people.
>>271375this.is.news.ASTONISHING.jpgActing like no one here has talked with Snacks or been on the Internet. I'll fluff your boner so hard your dad will feel it.
>>271376No harm in a review.Besides, I didn't know this stuff.
>>271376>>271380Then how come most of the 4chan userbase, especially those that first came to the website since 2008-present do not know about this?Because if those problems still persists, this proves that 4chan needs to get new management if moot refuses to do anything. Besides 4chan is actually worth a lot more than $50,000
>>271357>>270973>>271385>>271375Never has this image macro been more appropriate.I agree you can "vote with your feet" and post elsewhere, but don't delude yourself into thinking Moot will care if traffic goes down or that "management" will change. Hell, he'd probably welcome it given it meant less work for him.
it's a fucking imageboard
>>271390Which is much better than the original concept, an image-fucking board.
>>271420Now we just need a board of fucking images....Wait.
>>271375>He does not like 4chan anymore and wants to pull away. That is why he started the Canvas startup. Honestly?Good for him.Chan "culture" is a fucking cancer.Culture.What the fuck happened to a bunch of people dicking around on the internet having a good time? When did we think that there was some stupid culture surrounding a group of anonymous imageboards? >know the imageboard culture because they participated in itAnd that's WORSE. That's running the asylum. That's getting people who take 4chan and all the chans fucking SERIOUSLY. Like they're some last bastion of freedom and real thought and not a bunch of nerds nerding about shit.Chans are not a market. Don't pretend that boycotting a website will change anything. Get over yourself, lighten up, and actually do things and say things that you like on the internet. Or don't, but if you're doing that at least don't pretend that you're some kind of bearer of bad news that we didn't already know. It's the internet. Don't take it seriously.

>>271443>Sorry, I lost the ability to lighten up about 14 years agoThen, in all honesty, you are too old to do anything now, you have lost what makes you interesting and a good person, and explains why you are crying about the declining quality of a goddamn webpage on the goddamn internet. What are you even still DOING here? Don't you have a heart attack to have?>And things that happen on the internet, can and did spill over into the real world and vice versa.Right, but it's too small and too few to actually make a difference. I'm not pretending the net is still some kind of wild wild west or some shit, but who cares if some website where people talk has a whole bunch of nepotism going on? It's not a business, and it doesn't pretend to be. You get what you pay for. Stop crying, stop whining, and just move on. You are not a prophet, stop pretending to be. There are so many other things you could spend your time writing on with that kind of time and persuasion, and it's about how we should go to another webpage that doesn't fucking matter in the long run.Honestly, who gives a fuck? Apparently just you and other people who seem to freak about about the qualities of conversations on a giant internet forum.
oh my god u guys moot lives in new york and that is where 9/11 happened and 4chan celebrates its birthday on october first which is 10/1 and 10-1 = 9 and 10+1 = 11 moot did 9/11 and snacks tried to stop him so moot killed snacks and now moot plans to create canvas network to train an elite squadron of terrorist mods to help take over the internet and we have to stop them
>>271458>What are you even still DOING here? Don't you have a heart attack to have? I'm actually 22 years old. You're suggesting I'm a old man.
>>271480>Implying you need to be old to have a heart attackIt's about stress.
>>271482This is true. There's dozens of factors that could lead to heart attacks. They're virtually unpredictable.
>>271482>implying heart attacks have anything to do with stressinb4 high blood pressure because there still isn't any scientific link between the three.
>>271498No, you idiot, I was saying the point >>271458 was making when he said "why haven't you had a heart attack yet" was that "Sad Truth" was stressing about nothing. When someone is stressing out over something little, it's common to say "don't have a heart attack about it." I wasn't saying ALL heart attacks are due to stress.

>>272990>I posted this picture with "Sup mods" Well that's basically asking for it.
>>272990you're an idiot.
>>272861>>272990>Man, what's with those jerks getting all high-and-mighty over my porn on their worksafe board?
>>272990Why would you do that?
>>272990Face it, Anon...you're all wet.
/tr/ is pissing me off with all this porn and their self-righteous attitude of "hurr we can post porn here cuz dis is 4chan and we can spoiler tag 'em hurp durp"
>people on /co/ trying to brush cannes off on to /a/Not cool, man.
>>273804And now it's on /tg/.Fuck you, /co/. They don't deserve that.
>>273809Why can't they just ban her already?
>>273810Supposedly she/he/it has been banned, but keeps evading it.
>>272990What kind of monster would be opposed to that?!
>>273809>>273804What? Who?
God, /tv/ pisses me off, but I can't stop visiting it. For some reason Russians decided to troll the shit out of Avatar for months and use /tv/ as a playground for dumping/hacking scripts. They also found out a way to get past the captcha.
My ISP is blocked.I... I was going to post comics from Superdickery today...
>>273864if you didn't get directly banned jut go into 4chan irc and call for a mod
>>273847>They also found out a way to get past the captcha.Big deal. /g/ did that like 5 minutes after it was implemented.
>>273899If they were so good at breaking it, why can't moot hire them? They would be also the ones that could be making long needed improvements to the boards system 4chan uses.
>>273903>why can't moot hire them?...with all the money he makes from 4chan?
>>274116Problem is how much money he actually makes with 4chan? The site is only gaining a small profit.
>>274204
Gosh dammit, it's down!
>>273895ISP bans are universal; no exceptions. It says so right on the FAQ
Moot got a bunch of venture capital (to the tune of $600k) for Canv.asalso he moved to San Francisco or something too, see Canv.as' "jobs" page.recaptcha isn't that hard. Only one of the words needs to be correct. You can put anything else for the other words: dicks, nigger, fag, a, dsfrageg, etc etc. There was an informational image (from /a/ I think, it had a Haruhi trollface in the background) about this but i cant find it right now. The tl;dr is that any word with punctuation marks, numbers, a foreign language, different font, or a black background is the word you DO NOT need to get correct. This was emphasized way back when /b/ fucked with the Time100 poll, because Time eventually added ReCaptcha to stop /b/ from fucking with it... so /b/ just brute forced it instead of exploiting the poor design of the poll. The side effect of entering a random word for recaptcha is that Google's OCR efforts get poisoned with random words. Last I heard was that there are a number of safeguards that prevent this from impacting anything in a meaningful way, but a concentrated effort to mark all words as "[word]" could potentially result in Google OCRing certain words as "[word]" Of course, this depends on how many times each word is served, what volume of words 4chan goes through compared to the total words served, and any other safeguards (i.e. blocking certain words from being counted). Also there is significantly less spam now, and we got ReCaptcha-tan out of the deal too.
>>275211>also he moved to San Francisco or something tooSon of a bitch. He's definitely pulling away from 4chan.
>>275235>>275211Just because the office is located in San Fran doesn't mean he moved there. That's more likely where his financial backers for the project are from.
Jesus, saturday /tg/ is more trolltastic than saturday /new/. And /new/ is ALWAYS trolling.
>>275250The SEC filing for canv.as listed it as having an office in New York http://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1491917/000149191710000001/xslFormDX01/primary_doc.xml . The investors are "Ron Conway, Marc Andreessen, Chris Dixon, Kenneth Lerer, and Joshua Schachter." Sauce: http://techcrunch.com/2010/05/17/moots-investors-revealed-andreessen-conway-dixon-schachter-and-lerer/I got around to reading >>271357 and it's pretty obvious that that the vast majority of mods on 4chan are moot's buddies. He's been saying that he doesn't want to wade through thousands of janitor applications to get janitors, which is why we don't have janitors. Of course, he always says he's going to do it, but that's not happened, just like he hasn't answered his formspring more than once. On the contrary, the things he said would never happen (a /lit/ and /sci/ board, ads, captcha) happened. For the record, mods and janitors are required to remain anonymous. There are various reasons this might be the case, but janitors who reveal they are janitors get kicked out and don't get replaced.
For some reason, every time I try to post something AND upload an image to 4chan, it doesn't post. Merely posting text does go through.I want to say this is a 4chan problem, but I see other posts w/ pics go through fine. Perhaps it's my ISP (phone network), since it's been pretty shitty this entire week.
>>275251>And /new/ is ALWAYS trolling. It depends on the time of day and on the type of news story. It's like roulette.
All of 4chan has come to a complete stop.
>>275693Yeah, looks like sys.4chan.org (the posting server) is down.
>>275693It's kinda strange, seeing /b/ threads stay on one page.
>>275695>>275693Posting is still down
AAAAAAAAAAAAAMUST GET STORY FOR /tg/ OUTMUST KEEP THREAD ALIVELET ME POST AGAIN DAMN YOU
i think 4chan is much better when no one can post, let us leave it like this for all entirenty, frozen in this moment.
>>275714With a greentext thread stuck at the top of /v/, nothing encapsulates it better
>>275714I think you're a butt
>/sp/ frozen with a >mfw Schalke 04 were shit type thread top of the board
im useing this frozen time to READ EVERY THREAD ON 4CHAN
>>275721That sounds painful.
Going by the timestamps of the most recent posts on few boards, posting has been down for almost 4 hours
>>275722it's agonizing
Why is the posting down?
>>275736/b/ dun goof'd again
>>275737What did they do?
>>275740Well they took down the MPAA website...that's all I can think of
>>275743I thought they were targeting the RIAA, not the MPAA.
>>275743The Motion Picture Association of America? What brought upon this raid?Did they do something stupid?
I found something when I Google'd RIAA.http://www.zdnet.com/blog/igeneration/mpaa-down-riaa-next-an-e-protest-over-piracy/6217And it's down. Hahahahahahaha!
WOW! This place is worse than /tv/ with it's collection of tripfags. What's the matter? Got filtered by the intelligent anons who won't pay attention to your tripfagging ways?
>>275748see >>275749
>>275753
When will posting be back up?
>>275774July 17th
I have to admit I'm a bit disturbed by the lack of open 4chan tabs.
Got another 1 day ban for banned url when I was trying to post a Sims reference for the latest expansion pack on /v/. This is fucking ridiculous. Does anyone have a list of banned urls?
>>275964Sadly, no list of banned urls exists.
Seems the blanket ISP bans are being lifted in some countries, so I guess there's hope for me yet.
>>275971>Go on #4chan irc>Ask around for help>Several replies of "lol, iunno">PM WTSnacks>Hi, sorry to bother you, but my isp got blocked and I was told the best thing to do w->FUCK YOU YOU WEREN'T TOLD TO PM ME STOP ASKING ME FOR HELP>log off
>>275976>Later read up on Snacks via ED
>>275976>>275982>goes on 4chan>doesn't know about wtsnacksson, i am all kinds of disappoint. around snacks, never relax.
>>275999Yeah, I fucked up today. Still, I e-mailed moot about this ISP b.s. so now I just have to play the waiting game. The waiting game sucks. Let's play Hungry Hungry Hippos.
>>276006I'm the dude who was banned for 45 days because of another namefag posting /b/-shit on my college's IP from earlier in the thread. Guess what the mods did when I said "This is a shared, dynamic IP, please lift or shorten the ban.">mods reaction: lol, nope
>>276102How did the mod replied? Via email or by irc?
>>276006>emailed Moot>expects resultsOh, you poor, naive creature.
>>276148Yeah, I'm running that low on options.
>>276106I just waited a few days, checked the ban page and said "Your appeal was reviewed and denied. You may not appeal this ban again."22 more days.
>>276174That's 22 days of learning how to use a proxy.
>>276219>That's 22 days trying to find a proxy that hasn't already been bannedftfy
>>276567
>>276174And they don't send you an email saying why? Pathetic...
>>276567I once got a bullshit ban for camwhoring (read: replied in a camwhore thread to mock said camwhore), and had good luck with a Bulgarian proxy. Lasted three whole days before someone else got it banned.
So I've been browsing /sp/ lately.......Tooth, your fans scare me.
>>276863One troll =/= my fans. My actual fans are very sweet girls. They found me on lj and sometimes send me little presents, such as scans from magazines they know I'd like. :3
Free Glass, I thought you were a Mexican.
>>276886Mexicans are productive members of society
>>276870...you have fans?
