Sokka: Lee!
Ty Lee: Sokka?
Sokka : Lee! Where you at?
Ty Lee: Sokka?
Sokka: LeeeeeeeeeeeEEEeeee!
Ty Lee: What'chu do? What'chu do?
Sokka: I did nothin' I swear. These guys just came out of nowhere makin' trouble.
Ty Lee: Hey, hold on guys. We don't want no trouble.
Sokka: You tell'em Lee. Watch out, my man Ty Lee here is on a secret mission. She's got no time for you moppheads.
Ty Lee: Sokka!
Sokka: Lee?
Ty Lee: Sokka!

Okay, Ty Lee is basically a female Jackie Chan, Sokka is her Chris Tucker/Owen Wilson. They have an adventure, Ty Lee don't want no trouble. The rest is up to you! Go!

So they're going to make the exact same adventure 3 times in a row, while reusing the same tired jokes, plot points and bad guy.

Hint: it's the old white guy that you thought was a good guy but was pretty obviously the villian even from the very first scene he was in. You think two people who are supposed to be professional bad guy finders would have seen that comming, especially when it happened a second tine in the exact same manner. Kind of like Ground Hog Day with kung fu and retards.

...what were we talking about again?

Ty Lee is a lot like Jackie Chan in that optimistic happy go lucky way. But she just doesn't fight on construction sites enough.

Sokka is far too useful and not shrill enough.

Ok, basic plot: Somebody probably murdered Ty Lee's uncle or something and her investigation leads her to someplace foreign. Sokka tags along and is her guide because he's knowlegable about the culture or somthin'

Crazy crap happens. Cue fight scene.

Hey, I liked the first movie. I don't know about the sequels because I didn't bother with them. I'm taking it that's a good thing?

Don't get me wrong, I liked the first one too, but the sequels were terrible. The third especially. It was basically a shitty remake of the first movie, right down to the "bad guy" twist.

And Chris Tucker... don't even get me started. He was actually funny in the first, but holy shit, he becomes a mental endurance test for the sequels.

If I want a good Jackie Chan sidekick i'll stick with Sammo Hung, thank you very much.

And hell, if I want a mediocre but less annoying sidekick, i'll stick with Owen Willson.

I loved Rush Hour, and have a soft spot in my heart for the second that has more to do with nostalgia than anything. But the third, yeah...was not very good.

But anyway! I don't see this duo working at all, really...a younger Jeong Jeong and Bumi buddy movie...now THAT I can get behind.

No.85833
For some reason I saw their expression in the OP and thought it would be more like Isaac and Miria from Baccano, though Sokka is really too smart for that.

>Jeong Jeong and Bumi

you might as well say Murthaugh and Riggs!

anyway if you're going to get a buddy cop situation you will need an angry, screaming boss...

I've got the perfect screenwriter for that:
