So I've decided to scan the artbook, but it's my first time scanning something and it doesn't seem like I'm doing a very good job.I will post the 7 that I have done so far, 1 which is resized, and I don't know, if you guys want me to do the rest tell me if this is acceptable and if it's too big/small/off center, etc.
keep going.
These are nice and hi-res, continue. Why so low self esteem, bro?
>>84665That's how I rollNever satisfied with my own efforts
Please don't scan the entire thing. We already have some scans of the book at iroh.org and while I don't mind a few more, I don't want the whole thing scanned, I want more people to go out and purchase it. I believe that by buying the artbook legitimately, we may be able to get more series-related merchandise, such as soundtracks.
>>84673I know what you meanI think I'll just do chapter 1 then
>>84681Dat early Katara...
>Please don't scan the entire thing. Seconded.Seriously, it's not that expensive.
>>84690Already said what I'm doin40/184 doesn't seem like too much
And done.
Yay. Thanks OP.
>>84701Did they ever release the pilot?
>>84709I know you can buy it off iTunes, both with commentary and without.
>>84709You can watch it with commentary off the DVDs. Don't know about the normal version.
>>84711Don't you mean the other way around? Either that, or I'm just too dumb to figure out how to turn commentary off on mine.
>>84712No, I meant that if you play it off of the DVDs, you watch it with commentary. I didn't phrase that clearly, it seems.
>>84713That's better, here I was thinking there was a way to turn it off and I didn't realize it.>>84710So if you get it off iTunes, you can get it without the commentary? How much is it?
Holy ****, I must buy this.
>>84758Yes, you must, it's really, really good. But knowing how much art was made for the show, I already wanted a 2nd art book when I finished looking through the first!
>>84767Seconding.
I want this, have for a while, but I cannot find the damn thing! And mostly I just don't want to go online for it either.
>>84819Just suck it up and get it from amazon. It's totally worth it.
>>84819I've seen it at both my local Borders, but it's about $10 more expensive than Amazon.
>>84819Buy it! It's totally worth it. You'll be supporting the show that you love, and you get a bomb ass art book. Its the best art book I've ever casually glanced through.
Thanks for doing this! Will buy it when I'm in the country.

>>84903I thought of Beavis and Butthead when I saw that drawing
It just got to my house yesterday. I'm surprised at the size (as in height and width) of the thing.>>84908Yeah, me too.Memorable lines:>Once revealed, I wanted [Bumi] to have the creepy, long-limbed, hunched posture of Gainax's Evangelions. Can't unsee.>The idea for Zuko's disguise and the plot for "The Blue Spirit" came to use very quickly after that, but initially in the writers' room we thought of him as teh Red Spirit... Unfortunately, with the red mask he was looking a bit like an ancient Korean version of Spider-Man.>Chong: Think ancient Tibetan T. Rex/SlashlolMai apparently had another pair of those spring-loaded bolt launchers on her legs but I can't remember if she ever used them.I'm surprised there were so many character-designs based on real people we hadn't heard about before (all the pirates from "The Waterbending Scroll" but the leader, Jeong Jeon, Due, Tho, Joo Dee, Chit Sang, and to a small degree Combustion Man).
>>85831She used them once int he second half of The Boiling Rock, I think.
