OH NOES TEH GAY AGENDA IS BACK!!!1
>>74403Gaaah that's the cutest manip ever I may have to make it my desktop
If you weren't gay before, you are now.
Here’s Aang wearing Sokka’s parka. And nothing else.
>>61876Somehow, that made me gayer.>>61879>>68546Zuko looks too good as cheerleader. I'm aroused, confused, and jealous.>>68667Zuko: Blood and Honor!Zhao: Victory at sea!
>>74707>Zuko: Blood and Honor! >Jet: Victory at sea!Fix'd
>>61904I actually hate femme Zuko. Can't a man be masculine and bottom?
>>74751Well, it goes to the whole "the giving partner is the masculine and dominant one, the receiving one is the feminine passive one". Then again, there are dominant bottoms. Pic related. According to Alice Cooper, you definitely want Elton on your side in a bar fight. It's just that Zuko doesn't seem like one to me. Plus, he looks so cute in a dress. :3
>>69190Wow, I literally gasped. I am such a little bitch
>>74751I see what you're saying, but Zuko is so easy to draw as a bottom -- or, in this case, a cheerleader -- because he isn't that masculine to begin with.
>>74759Okay, gotta chime in on that one, that's bull. Zuko is usually made a lot more femenine by the artists, sure, but in the series itself? He doesn't have hips like the way he's drawn here, he's hot headed, very defensive of others looking at his girlfriend, and quick to challenge others to an Agni Kai, which is *nothing* if not some overtly machismo contest of honor. If anything, you're better off making the argument that he's trying too hard to be masculine, or even compensating, but all in all, Zuko's not very girly.
>>74759You're absolutely right... if you're comparing him to the manly might of WANG FIRE, perhaps. But seriously, get out.
>>74760Which is probably why the fandom likes making him girly. Because he tries too hard.I think I'm just annoyed with them making him a swishy submissive uke. The kid has serious, serious trust issues. The only two people he's warmed up enough to trust was Mai (and look what he had to do to help restore balance) and Aang (and fandom has issues with underage shota, thinking he'll be 12 forever). Jetko fans and Zukka fans usually go for the swishy bottom route. I'm sure there is fic out there where Jet or Sokka eventually earns Zuko's trust, but I honestly don't care. I've been burnt too much.
>>74760He was drawn with hips to fit the role he was given in the picture. It's a GAG picture. Everyone knows he doesn't have hips like that in the series.>he's hot headedWhat does that have to do with being masculine? Katara is hot headed, too, and it's doubtful anyone would make a case for her being manly for it.You're right. He tries way too hard. And, to me, he comes across as dorky more than "manly", or the suave lady-killer he's sometimes portrayed as. I never said he was girly. I just don't see him as being as masculine as some people claim.Fandom takes extremes with Zuko. He's either too girly or too masculine.>>74761"Get out"? Why does someone's perception bother you so much?No one's going to contest Wang Fire's manly might. That's pure fact.
>>74764In social setting, he's a fucking dork. I love him for being a socially confused distrusting dork. When he fights? That's an entirely different story. Remember, Azula is placed on God-Mode. Losing to her is not a failure.
>>74763>swishy submissive ukeSwishy? That actually sounds kind of fun. I feel like there are serious problems with slash fandom's tendency to categorize either half of a couple as top or bottom based on character. And often it involves the uke being... very uke-ish with the vulnerability and physical inferiority (to the seme) and crossdressing and such. So the man penetrates and the other (wo)man takes it, and is weaker for it? Eh. I deal with it because that's the format almost all slash comes in. Anyway here's some schooldays Jetko.
>>74766I'm thinking the Principal Zhao/Zuko stuff leads into Jet 'saving' him. But I can't read Korean. (All from jetzuko.blogbus.com, btw)
>>74767
>>74768
>>74766>slash fandom's tendency to categorize either half of a couple as top or bottom based on characterThis is really more of a yaoi fandom thing that parts of slash fandom has absorbed. Personally, as a slasher, I can't stand that kind of thing.
>>74767>>74768And theeeeen there's the Zhao/Zuko non-con. As if on cue.
>>74771It's what I do.
>>74764>Why does someone's perception bother you so much?Maybe I overreacted, but sometimes I get tired of the fandom's emasculating of Zuko since he's one of my favorite characters. It's only funny up to a point, then it starts getting annoying. Also seconding everything >>74766 said. I grow weary of the macho, predatory seme pursuing the weak, woobified little uke trope. Or that all gay men are automatically sissies. It doesn't have to be bara, but I prefer two "normal" guys that are hot for each other instead of castrating one of them to fit the relationship. And now for subject derailment: >>56737I think Zukka would have caught on 100% quicker if these scenes from the pilot were left in the premier.
Hot damn, how did I not know about this fic before now? I fucking hate high school AUs, but somehow this has won my heart with its HNNGGGG-worthy Zukka. As in, I have literally made noises of pleasure at how adorable and satisfying this developing romance is.http://www.fanfiction.net/s/4555190/1/Transference
SOKKA IS A STRAIGT AS AN ARROW!
>>74943Even an arrow can snap...
>>74945A broken arrow is still straight and not everybody is bi like Jet.
>>74951Exhibit A: SHOPPING
>>74954Shopping WEAPONS. Straight guys love weapons as much as the other kind.
>>74954Dude, he's shopping for WEAPONS.
>>74959
>>74966
Boy it sure is sexuality does not function outside of stereotypes in here.
>>74987Agreed. Let's keep the thread drama free like the title says. On the show, Sokka is a straight manly man who likes shopping and still has the hots for pretty girls, but since this is the GAY thread, he can be as gay here as we want him to be. No need for debates or PROOF like certain other ships.
Zuha? Hako? What is this?
>>75256A blushing, woobie Zuko getting dominated by Haru. Haru. Jet I can accept, but this is just going too far. Zuko must restore his MANLY HONOR and put Mr. SexyFine in his place.
>>75256Heh, its the roof top Jet that gets me.
Haru is the first to be hired about 6 months after Zuko was crowned. Zuko was not informed of this and is not sure if he was okay with it. Especially since Haru's methods of keeping him safe were… questionable.
But he slowly learned that maybe he did need a bodyguard. Not that he would tell them of course.
>>75271>>75270Bleh. Pictures are cute, but the series itself pretty much emasculates Zuko.
>>75297That’s what makes him so appealing. Mai could just be a beard.
>>75303Gay =! Emasculating This is why the slash fandom hates me so very much.
Here's something you all might enjoy :3http://tracker.gaytorrent.ru/details.php?id=79987(You DO need a GAYtorrent.ru account, to download though...)
>>84416I'm all for the gay, so not to sound ungrateful, but I don't think it's worth signing up for an account if all the art is that quality. If you have an account, can you post more stuff here?
here is the .zip file:http://www.mediafire.com/?59s9n45sre0ha48I would upload it myself but i don't have the time or utilities to dump ~150 images here.If someone else wants to upload them here, feel free. Just note that some (~5) are duplicates of ones that were already in this thread.
Zuko tops for a change.
Bromance!
>>85731HNNNNNG Zuko's smile in that last panel
>>85728Be afraid, Jet. Be very afraid.Or happy, if you like hot boys.
