Coco wasn't aged up. Her design was just straight up changed just like how Amy Rose stopped being so crappy looking from Sonic CD and gained her good design from the rest of the series.

As for Cream, I wouldn't mind if she was aged up to be Tails' age. I hate the concept of her being 6 years old but she's able to fight back against Eggman but get this, she does it ONLY because Cheese her pet plot device tool fights for her.
