There was a god damn One Piece doujin convention a month or two ago and of course we didn't see a single thing out of it. It just sucks that OP's reputation and potential fanbase in north america was completely and utterly destroyed by horrible localization for years and probably has played a big part of it.

We lost a huge chunk on regulars back when the site kept crashing and was even down for about two weeks a while back. There's also OP threads in /a/ and Arlong Park.
