We've already seen what Urogue looks like post-timeskip: .. exactly the same. The people in the last page are Kid, Baron Tomago, Pekoms, a man who appears to have a robotic arm, an afro and a cigar, and a young woman with a sword.

These are all "brokers" or people who deal in the underworld. Meaning Kid also has some ties to them. With Big Mom's people still hovering over this arc it's pretty clear we're still in her saga/story arc and this is only more exposition for it.

Speaking of Supernovas, I was liking Jewelry Bonney, she was kinda cool and had a pretty unique power that could have lead to some funny situations. Seems shes pretty dead in the water though, probably starving in Impel Down or something.

It sucks because isn't she basically the only Supernova who's confirmed to be inactive, at least as of right now? Mad Monk may have run into some trouble with that old woman but who knows. And who gives a shit about the Mad Monk, the generic guy who's power is growing bigger and more muscular, the most uninteresting power ever.

Except it's not what I think, but what is known. Go to AP forums and you'll see what I'm talking about seems to be almost common knowledge over there. Just because there's a disconnect of information in the fandom and you don't know shit does not mean I'm coming here to make up things. There's a great deal of data and inside tidbits (like the apparent little known fact that Sabo IS indeed dead) that is only given out outside of the manga.

But like I said earlier - I really don't give two fucks who believes me at this point, and since I don't have anything at hand to back up my claim, my case holds up even less water. If you want to continue believing the idiotic fan-made theories floating out there, go ahead.

Apparently this is the panel where it says "Sabo was bombarded by the Celestial Dragons and lost his life" in the databook, or something. I'm willing to accept it, but a SBS would clinch it for me. Oda's track record with off-screen deaths and that scene (which seems really strange if he is dead) has me brushing the fence.

It's been established that powers still work when exposed to the Sea, the DF user just loses the ability to move. Presumably Chopper transformed back because the Rumble Ball's effect ended, rather than the sea doing anything to him--but we know that, for example, Luffy's body can still be stretched by non-DF users who go grab him, so it's no surprise Chopper can still think like a human.

That said, I do wonder what would happen to Brooke, now that we know his DF power actually gives him power over his soul. Would he be able to astrally project himself, even though he can't move his body?

>> No. 27072
>>27071
Keep him from moving until that happened? Nothing's down in stone, so take what I'm saying with a grain of salt if you like, but it was just my understanding that the sea didn't actually cancel out DF powers. There might be something deeper to it though--maybe it doesn't cancel out permanent transformations (i.e. Luffy being turned to rubber, Brooke being turned to a spirit inhabiting his old body, Chopper being turned into a reindeer-man), but does cancel out temporary / willful transformations, i.e. a Zoan assuming a non-default form or a Logia assuming elemental form.

...but if Chopper's default form is now Reindeer-Man and that's why he didn't transform into a regular reindeer, wouldn't that mean that being dunked in the sea or exposure to sea prism stone should turn all Zoans into their hybrid forms instead of their original forms?

Urghh. Let's just say it does whatever Oda needs it to at the time and be done with it, huh?

The sea doesn't cancel out latent powers or changes, like having a rubber body or being alive. But you're fucked over by it, it paralyzes and knocks the DF user out pretty much immediately upon full submersion. It makes you as weak as possible, and would probably bring any other Zoan to their human form. It just fucks you up, in every way it can.

But Chopper's different, and they treat his Brain Point as his base form rather than his reindeer form. So he changed into that instead.

It seems like Oda has gone a bit overboard with his childlessness. I was skimming through old chapters and watching old episodes and Chopper seemed to talk more seriously or at least be calm at times, though he was still generally childish as he should be, and his body was a bit bigger.

Now, he's as mini and cutesy as ever, and when he's not in a different form than his mini form, he's either screaming about something, crying about something or being amazed at something, I find it a bit jarring that he's this intelligent doctor yet he never seems to be not childish as hell anymore.

I wanna see more of the chilled Chopper who can for a nice walk to a book store or read once in a while and less drooling over Franky and screaming. I'm hoping the anime has some filler episodes or arcs in the future with that.
