Nuh-uh. Kuma never ever wore the anime's colors in the manga. He wore orange when he first showed up and blue during the war. The only major anime-affecting-the-manga color change was the Merry's sheep head, which was brown then became white. However, there is a borderline case in Nami's red clima-tact. It was and stayed red, but when she got the perfect clima-tact it was blue like the anime's.

and for the last time, OP is a black and white manga so Oda doesn't even bother colouring characters most of them the time when he actually makes colour spreads. The whole crew is white in his colour spreads probably just for consistency.

The anime established character's skin colour from the beginning, the ANIME is not the MANGA so they shouldn't have lolwhitewashed the entire crew post timeskip because its now inconsistent and the crew looks far better when they all had varying skin tones. Besides Robin, I miss Zoro and Usopp's darker tones.

Robin looked great with darker skin and it's pretty fucking obvious Usopp is supposed to be a black guy. Oda even flat-out stated he would be African in the real world. At least with the black and white manga I can just picture them with their original anime skintones. I just wonder if they bothered to change the skintones to fit the manga better, why does Robin still have blue eyes?
