Fuck, I missed the second after credit scene. I was tired and forget there would be 2 of them. Does anybody have a link?

>Story that actually has something to say
>Characters with real development
>Humor that's fits to film's tone and not overbearing
>Marvel movie references that actually makes the film feel like it part of a bigger universe instead of fanboy wanking
>Black Widow's smoking hairdo

Best Marvel movie in a longtime.

Also, Steve's To Do List changes depending on the country you're seeing it in.

I bet Steve would LOVE Rocky.

And yeah, it was a solid, great action film. Being comic fan I could see the plot twists coming from a mile (Fury faking his death, Pierce being a double agent, SHIELD being infiltrated by HYDRA to the core, etc), and yet the plot still felt exciting. By the end of the movie theres is a major shake up in the status quo, and I am genuinely curious on how things are going to be handled from now on. Curious, and glad that it was done, since I felt SHIELD was a bit too centric in the MCU.

And goddamn, they actually made the Zola-in-a-TV work, those beautiful bastards.

Next time please use spoiler tags.

Fury not dying is not a spoiler, it's pretty common sense.

Robert Redford plays a character from the comics who is a double agent, and himself has admitted being the film's villain in interviews. Again, no spoiler.

The Hydra/SHIELD sorta counts as a spoiler (it is a plot point in the comics, though), so for that one I do apologize.

I've had similar issues. A lot of this is really obvious but it's done well enough so it doesn't bother me. So when talking to less comic-versed or just plain fiction-versed people it's like, come onnnnn how did you not at least think of that as a possibility? "Well I don't read comics." Then why don't you read some? "Nooooo comics are for nerds."

Not saying anyone here is this dense, just venting my own frustrations.

Not everybody follows all media. We're not mad at you, spoilers are just the polite thing to do when talking about twists to a movie.

>Then why don't you read some?

Because I don't have time to follow every piece of entertainment media ever.

Wrong, it's because comics are for nerds

Anyway, I think that Zola is still alive.
How many terrabits was all does tapes.
Should be easy to just usb him to a robotbody and CTRL-V.

I am not sure of what point are you trying to make.

Very enjoyable. The characters (the good guys at least) are very enjoyable and the action is good. It left a bit too much hanging for future films for my liking, but overall it was pretty good.

Ah ha ha ha ha no.

Yeah, I'm not too clear on that one either.

You and I will have to disagree on TDK.

Dark Knight, or Dark Knight Rises? Because being better than Dark Knight Rises isn't that big an accomplishment.

TDK.
DKR isn't even worth commenting on.

Eh, I can live with that.

Sure it is, but only if that comment is "That movie wasn't nearly as good as The Dark Knight."

Should Steve tell Tony about his parents?
>> No. 40122
>>40121
It would be the decent thing to do.

I mean, if Howard became aware of Hydra's plot (and why else would they kill a scientific genius that was working by proxy for them?), that that would explain why he became distant. It wasn't because he didn't care for Tony, but the other way around.
>> No. 40124
I was honestly kind of bored when I saw it but I think it was because I felt like the movie was so predictable. I felt that way about The Avengers, too, though.

Even my friend turned to me and said "Nick Fury isn't really dead." because it was so obvious.

Also the "...hail HYDRA." whisper hug thing made me laugh so hard because it was just so silly. It was supposed to be this serious thing but it was executed so ridiculously imo. That moment felt so comic book-y and I bet it would have been good in a comic but the translation to movie didn't work for me.

I think the problem is I'm getting kind of sick of superhero movies. And I love superheroes.

That moment would work great as the last panel in a comic book, or even as the last moment before a scene transition or pacing change in the movie. Just stuck in the middle there, though, I agree it was kinda funny.

As a Quebecer, seeing GSP trying to kick Captain America's shit in was pretty damn enjoyable. I almost didn't believe it was him until I read the credits.

And how in god's name has no one mentioned the Dr. Strange name drop? I predict he's gonna be coming up in the future in a big way

Bro, it's more or less official that Dr Strange will be a Phase 3 movie.

Damn is it really? I'm behind on my news. Not sure how he'd hold up to an entire movie, but I am pumped to see him on the big screen
