Umbral Ultimatium still sticks with me to this day. I'll find myself whistling it constantly. That, and Descend. God damn, that song. That animation and song was the peak of my emotional investment in Homestuck. I couldn't hold back tears at Dream Jade dying, and it was draining to re-watch the flash, because of that song.

So I've noticed something odd about the embedded album art; on albums where there are individual track arts (i.e. all but Sburb, Squiddles, and Vol. 5), all of the tracks have their track-specific artwork embedded, except if that track is the first on the album. In that case, the embedded art is the album cover, and not the art for that track.

Is this an issue with Bandcamp's album packaging, and is there any way to get the full-size album covers for all of these track #01s?

It's best known for a certain distinctive piano refrain that shows up in at least six places: The very end of Descend, the beginning and middle of Umbral Ultimatum ([S] Jade: Enter), the very end of Eternity's Shylock, and some really subtle bits in Black Rose, Green Sun ([S] Seer: Descend) and Black Hole, Green Sun (the end of Cascade). You'll recognize it instantly if you go listen to all that stuff.

Anyway, some people asked Radiation if it had a name and he said it was from a song he never finished. He's been teasing us with it ever since.

There are other bits of melody in the same song that also get referenced sometimes, but only the music team would be able to point those out.

The titles are confusing me. Haven't listened yet, but my assumption is these are reworked/redone versions of the originals.

The first and last are new music that mixes together a bunch of leitmotifs from famous/flash songs. The second and third tracks are remixes.

So I'm pleased with the originals here and Serenade is once again quite good. Could have sworn I heard a bit of something in it. Another song.

Now for Sarabande, I have to say I honestly prefer the original. This refined version is very good and rightly so, however it has this planned aesthetic to it. The original had a sort of sincere feeling to it, like it was made right on the fly by some down piano player in their studio alone, or a bar after three in the morning. It feels unrefined and I think it works well for it. Both give me the same feelings of either sad-sad or happy-sad moments, but they give me different feelings on the execution behind them.

Regardless, Sarabande is a damn good piece and I like all versions of it, including that one with the lyrics that Ashley what's her face made. Good album, yep yep.
