COLORING, THAT IS!I'll post the shit I color here.
Shoulda did this in order from what I did, when.OH WELL TOO LATE
Started off as this
>>42848Turned into thisUsing muddy colors, so I gotta study myself some color theory.
This was for someone on /co/.
WHAT IS COLOR?I DONT FUCKIN KNOW
SO I a thing
And then so far
WHATEVER
>>42866So far so good, although coloring from black and white comic is always a little tricky. We tend to be able to get away with dubbing surface texture with shadings and other inconsistencies because it gets the idea across, but there isn't as much leeway in color.
>>42867Yeah, textures will help with those broad inkless areas.I did this one real quick because I was all;MAN I LIKE THIS
Yay I colored a thing.
Colored a thing. I work better with thicker lineart, really.
Joined up with Premiere Pulp yesterday, already scheduled to do a cover soon.
Original by Jon Sommariva.
Tried something else on something requested by a friend and it turned out like crap. Oh well.
And this one was a speed coloring test to see how fast I could finish something.
Tried to fix this up. Giving up.
And then I did this.
>>42904>>42904Fixed the ugly ass background.
WAAAAAAAAAUUUUUUUGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHH
>>42915
Someone wants me to do the entire comic. That is time consuming. I have pages coming in soon that I gotta color.
Some pretty nice colors. Good job dude
Working on this for a possible cover of Premier Pulp.Original artist here:http://tgtf13.deviantart.com/art/A-Motorized-cat-is-fine-too-363258512?q=gallery%3Atgtf13&qo=0>>43095ALSO thanks dude.
After waiting and waiting, turns out there are problems with the artist I was working with, I am now free to color again without worrying that I have a comic coming in.So its go time. Got me some HOW TO DO SHIT videos and its time to learn.
Was this first
And then I decided too much orange.
Was bored. This took up about 15 minutes and then I watched ParaNorman! Yay
This one turned out real well, in my opinion.
I started on this, haven't gotten that much farther. Will post more completed project when it happens later on.
hrm
Someone requested this to be colored a bit ago, and supplied me with a blurry, small image. I had to resize and try to fix it up. I think I did fine with what I was given.
I sat down wanting to color this, and I wanted to take no more than 10 minutes on it. This is what I was at 10 minutes in. So, yeah, I need to get back into the coloring game.
Eh
Hrm
Working on an image practicing when I have to make my own shading and lighting, instead of going by ink example.
>>43467Zoop. So far.
A Lobo.
Starting on this.
>>43477This was a bit ago, before the other Lobo one.
Started on this, had to size it down to show it.Original artists are always listed on my Deviantart, so if you wanna find them, check there.
Lineart and pencils by Michael Golden.
More lineart by Michael Golden. This one is PFC Marks. This had to get a bit more work done than just coloring, and I think it turned out great for how little time went into it. I'm getting there.
Posting feels a lot smoother now, nice. I'm not being riddled with 503 errors anymore, either.
Coloring a thing
Colorin' this for someone by request.
And done for now.
Another Tony Moore work colored.
Original by Tony Harris.
Put a bit more mood into it, yo.
Working on this. Tony Harris is the original artist.
>>43541An update.
Meh
Weh
And so far with this oneI mean Bleh
Wah
And this makes 5 of 5 requests fulfilled.
Another request filled. First coloring was much better and less sloppy, but photoshop crashed as I was saving it (thanks, CS5 lite...) SO, sorry guy that requested it.
I am coloring an entire fucking chapter of Jojo now. This is what has become of me. Here is a sneak peak. I post the WIP and finals in the Batman art threads on /co/.
For /co/
For /co/...
By request a while ago.
This is my favorite of the requests I've fulfilled.
This was experimental and rushed.
This one was just rushed. I had very little time to actually work on this.
This one I had to work with a bad, small image that I had to fix up, crop, resize, and fucking everything. But hey, you work with what you've got.
For /co/.
>>43609I keep throwing money at the screen but nothing happens.
I've decided to kick myself out of the coloring stuff I was doing, because I was getting myself into a rut.
I've gotten so lazy with finding inks, so I really only color manga pages and shit, now. This one was a speed test. 40 minutes or so. Gotta go fast.I'm so disgusting.
>>43625When it comes to colouring manga pages w/ a bunch of tone, you might wanna color the lineart where the tone is, or remove it entirely. Otherwise it looks like you're shading w/ gray and that's pretty ick.
>>43630That was actually on the line art. It was also before I started going over the line art to change how it looked, so it isn't as good as it COULD be. I'm glad I figured out going over line art for shading, because it stopped a lot of that gray-shading look from the ink shading a lot of artists do.
Using Adi Granov art to learnificate me some painting.
