It seems Project Soul has cancelled SCV's original story. SC's official website no longer has the original bios of the characters. Raphael no longer looks for Soul Edge but instead he is looking for Soul Calibur to heal Amy. Amy's bio remains the same. Viola's bio has been modified and no longer shows her story. Only general data like her enigmatic birthday and birth place. Sophitia's death is no longer certain. There's no mention of Graf Dumas anywhere in the bios of Nightmare or Patroklos anymore. Could this mean we will have a SC6 after all or that Lost Swords will pick up where SCV left but with a different story?
Are we ignoring 5, because 5 basically through me out of the series.
>>186164That's what it seems. There's no mention of Alpha Pat and Pyrrha Omega anymore either.
>>186166Great cuz fuck 5 holy shit fuck 5.
Good because 5 was fucking shit in every way, though I'd say the series already jumped the shark once Tira showed up.
>>186167>>186168Hey now, everything about the story might have been utter shit, but the actual gameplay of SC5 was pretty damn great. Awesome netcode, too.
I liked the story and gameplay of all soul caliburs. The only thing i hated about the last one was the feel that it was incomplete.
>>1861644 did it for me.And like a fool I got the half finished SC5 expecting great things and was again let down. Ya the gameplay felt better, but there where a lot of things I hated about it. Still better than doing asinine things like 10 ringouts to unlock a costume piece in the challenge tower in 4. What a crock of shit that was. Then I traded the game in after two weeks and got $50 credit that I used for Mass Effect 3... at least the multiplayer was good. The series died on the PS2
>>186171And some people like the story of TwilightGood for you
>>186179Cruel.
> hating on SCVBut gamplay-wise it was leaps and bounds better than the turdburger that was IV.The story mode was shit, but seriously, if your chief reason to play a fighting game is the story then I don't know what the fuck.
>>186159>Could this mean we will have a SC6 after all or that Lost Swords will pick up where SCV left but with a different story?I think is more the latter.
This is the last part of Talim's story. It gives the impression that Talim could become Soul Calibur's next host.
Ralph's story no longer mentions anything about infinite stairs or waking up inside dungeons.
