Then again, it seems a bit suspicious that he would leave right in the middle of Sonic 06 and have so many plans for finishing the series they did.

Good lord, that 187 Ride Or Die vid by the Best Friends reminded me of a completely forgotten fad in the video game market. All those gangsta/hip hop/urban cash-ins from about 1999 to 2006. Not sure if I noticed the trend at the time because so many of those games just looked terrible so I ignored them. I hope someone has summoned the resolve to play through a bunch of them, because 187 looked hilariously uncool and misguided.
