I like this idea.
"Hey, Slim," Korra said, sitting down beside Mako with a grunt.
"Not as slim as I used to be," Mako grumbled, poking his stomach. There was more give at his touch than his previous washboard abs had ever shown. "Being around you guys is a terrible influence."
"Hey, nobody said you all had to copy my diet!" Korra said, giving her belly a pat. "And besides, a little flab will be good for you the next time you run into chi blockers."
"I don't think being skinnyfat will be much help," Mako said. "The padding only seems to work when there's a lot of it, like you, Miss Mountain."
"Awww, fat jokes?" Korra stuck out her lower lip. "You're gonna hurt my feelings."
"Sorry, tubbo," Mako said with a chuckle. "Can't help it." He gave her belly a poke.
And Korra's whole round body shook as she rapidly stifled a chuckle. "C-Cut that out!" she said, crossing her thick arms across her front.
Mako arched an eyebrow. "What's wrong?"
"Oh, n-nothing," Korra said, sliding to put some distance between them.
But Mako put two and two together. "You're ticklish, aren't you?"
"No, of course not!" Korra said. "If I were ticklish, the Equalists would be able to beat me in a flash. There's no way I'm ticklish."
"Oh, okay," Mako said. He looked out across Air Temple Island's training grounds. Korra breathed a sigh of relief- "Ha!"
Mako launched himself at Korra and began to run his fingers all over her belly. "HAHAHAHAHAHA!" Korra burst out laughing, rolling over with a ripple through her gut. "NoHOHOHOHOHOHO, M-Mako! Cut it OuHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!"
But Mako persisted, riddling Korra's belly with his fingers until she collapsed on her back with a thud. She laughed and laughed, rocking with deep laughter, until at last Mako showed mercy and stopped.
"AHAHAHAHAHha, hahahahaha, heeeeheeheeheeheehee," Korra said, still quivering with faint chuckles.
"Not ticklish, huh?" Mako asked, lying back against her side.
"Don't you dare tell Meelo," Korra said. "The last thing I need is him always trying to tickle me."
"Your secret's safe with me."
"Oh, there you two are!" Ikki cried, fluttering down out of the sky. "Korra, it's time for your mid-afternoon snack!"
