Yeah, I can see why JJJ may not fit. I originally chose him for the fun comedy option but now I'm thinking about someone else who might fit better. Having finally watched some Spectacular, Tombstone MAY fit that role, but part of me wants some unexpected, yet logical to fill it. Time will ultimately tell.

Thanks for all the edits made so far. I'm really thinking about doing a group so you guys can put your own documents and stuff in for consideration. My lead characters tend to have some slightly eccentric tendencies or world views, so I imagine what I'll be using will be different from what you guys are thinking of. (Though ideas from all corners is great.)

So... you'd be ok with Peter turning to the Dark Side and selling out his Yellow Jacket tech and services during Gwen's time as venom? It'd be an interesting concept, seeing as Peter has an in with Dr. Octavious.

As for the script itself, I'm still banging out characters. Gonna sit down tomorrow and block off time for it mainly. But I adore playing against type so I want to capture that while lining them up with past characterizations.

alright guys. at the last second when i was finishing the last parts of these concept sketches, autodesk and my tablet shat out at the same time. I managed to grab a screencap at the last second (lots of lasts). Sorry but this isn't how this was supposed to be presented. I managed to grab most of the important stuff on the screen. Yellow Jacket's flight backback is up to your interpretation until I get to it later this week maybe. i'll see what I can do now. But this is what I came up with

Okay, I've been looking over my more pressing projects as of late (other deadline-based writing plus my job hunt) and I realize that Spider-Gwen, while super cool, is not at the highest priority at this moment and I may not be able to block out a ton of time for an eight-issue series right now. However, I'd still like to be involved to some degree. Maybe we could get other writers to pitch in, I could do an issue or two and contribute the development notes I have?

I remember that came up. We discussed that in one the early thread, and agreed on Yellow Jacket. While Hornet has precedence, we decided to distance ourselves from "The Loners" and I think somebody wanted Peter to apprentice himself to Pym and lampshade the naming and their relationship. That being said I don't think it'll be a problem to swap the names about if people feel that strongly about it.

Anyone still working on this? I haven't seen any updates...

I sort of...became unable to do anything else with this. Even more so these days with the job I have that requires a lot of hard focus on my part. Recently, though, I did get the idea of at least commissioning some art pieces illustrating different parts of the proposed story. I still really like the idea, but tons of shit have dominated my priorities these days.

I have an artist in mind, but since they won't be able to get to my request yet, I'll gladly look at others.
