18 strips + 1 framing story with F&J
-1 page each strip – black&white?
-2 strips may be 3-parters if sticking by Simpsons method
-Exercise in restraint and conciseness
-May be textless
-Standalone stories that do not require TOO MUCH meta-show-knowledge to understand (little in-jokes are fine)
-Try to keep within canon

Standard Letter = 2550x3300 at 300 res or 1236x1600?
A4 = 2480x3508 at 300 res or 1131x1600?

Min: 4 frames?

-Ultimately dependant on concept
-Go nuts if avant-garde

How to divvy up the characters for comicking:

1) Artists figure out stories involving up to 3 characters (possibly more in background roles)
2) See who wants what, draw artists out of hat to decide who does what if necessary
3) Figure out order
4) NON-PROFIT

Like I said, I'm totally game for this.

I'm mostly geared for big illustrations and things of that nature. Does style matter for this? I'm more than willing to get as close to AT style as I can, but I also don't mind stylizing the characters in my own personal ways.

Other than that, just let me know how many illustrations you need and if there are any particulars to each. Aside from that, I'm pretty ok in the imagination department!

How much monetary compensation are you talking about, or is it just an implied possibility where you can screw over the contributors anyday anytime?

Since this is a collaborative project, I suggest something like a red robin? Basically, we pick from a hat or whatever who goes first. First person uses his/her designated page to start a story (whether in comic form or a full page illustration) next person has to continue and it goes on like that. And as a challenge (almost) all characters have to be included.

Haha it's my suggestion. Just thinking of ways we can organize this without headache? I'll check on this thread tomorrow.

...So before even starting, some open questions and suggestions to everyone involved:

- ACHTUNG: What will be the canvas format, standard letter or A4? The res? Because this will determine the lowest dimensions workable
- around 50 pages altogether? This includes the 18-20 pages of comic (not taking into account any two-page spreads, should there be any)
- Which artists would want to do which segment?
- If wanting to do comicking, which characters would you want to play with?
- Illustrations can be whatever, but any particular crossovers that one would think quite clever?
- ...and there's likely more but this is all I can remember for now

Also for anyone wanting to do comicking, Oct. 27th is the slot cutoff, so whoever wants a piece of that action...jump on in or note me up at thefunniestbunny on DA! ...I suppose this also means this little project can be advertised a tad in /co/'s AT threads and wherever else (though would that be too much attention as of present?)

Oh and no cutoff on the illustrations (14 artists thus far, plus possibly whoever in the comicking bit), as there be no worry on them being cohesive...although they may have their own divisions within (eg alternate realities, crossovers-VA gags, episode references, sexy, etc)

Note: nothing here is set in stone and feel free to angle in for characters already listed! Or not, as AT has an enormous cast!
