Yea, thinking about that next series could be something about uniting all the lost "tribes of the Primes" or whatever. Starts with some young rookie asking questions then some descendant of one of the other Primes shows up and talks about some quest and the rookie eagerly joins. Then we can bring in the Minicons,Maximals, that weird plant type nobody have ever really defined.

Well, I think Beast Machines, is... okay, I mean it's pretty nice to see Techno VS Organic life, it's gives you a good story while also having an enviromental message in it, it's like Captain Planet or Blinky Bill,

but still, most of the transformers are (especially in the maximals robot forms, hell they don't even look like the way they transform in the toys), the idea of believing in yourself to transform is a little too, & too the truth, Optimus Primal was mostly a Anti-Techno Guru for most of the series, & uh... between you and me... I wanted Waspinator to join the Maximals...

Well it clearly can't be Drift speaking Mandarin since he's a samurai and all. But god, Crosshairs deeply appeals to my stupid inner child's stupid tastes. High powered sports car alt mode. Garish eye catching colors. Magnificent bastard smirk sculpted right into his face. Duel wields SMGs. Big ass trenchcoat even though he's a goddamn robot. He's even got night vision goggles for night jigglin'!

Question: are the Transformers Animated IDW comics strictly a rehash of events on the show, or do they cover new ground? I've never read them, and lately I'm pining for more TFA again.

Been watching the actual X-Files lately and there are twinklings of the gory body investigations trend that became popular in later procedural crime dramas.
