Pocky is OK, honestly. It's the matter of finding the better/more interesting flavors, for a good price, and then waiting for it to be shipped that keeps me from eating it.

it was a huge diaspointment. In France we have Mikado, which are supposed to be just Pocky made in France. except it's very clear Mikado taste better. it's not a big surprise, after reading both ingredients, you notice the chocolate quality is far higher in Mikado than in Pocky.
that said, Mikado doesn't come with all the crazy flavour of Pocky. I'd still try some if given the occasion. but overall, I'll saty with my dark chocolate Mikado, thanks

I'll have to check my local european foods shop for that.

When I had it it was just stick-shaped crackers with a chocolate coating on most of it. The only other flavour I had was strawberry, I think. My response to it was "Meh". I frankly don't see what the big deal was/is.

I much prefer Yan Yan. There's something appealing about being able to dip your own, and it tastes better besides.

Pocky's good in a pinch. I remember those late nights, trying to finish an assignment. Got 10 boxes for $5 and was set.

Those savory pizza sticks are nasty, though.

I'm only going to say this once for those of you who call it "PAW-key"

Its pronounced "POH-key".

And no, its not "PAW-key" because the word looks like "rocky" or "that's how its written in American! (someone said this to me once, I swear to god)". Whenever you see the letters "p" and "o" next to each other like that on anything Japanese its pronounced "POH" and should rhyme with "go".
"POH-key". That's how you say it. Any other way is wrong.

You are the sort of person who gets their knickers in a twist when people watch English-dubbed animes, aren't you.

I'm going to pronounce it PAW-key from now on all the time just to spite people like you.

The one I had was okay. I had a simple flavor though, it might have been just plain chocolate. I only got it because I was only getting one comic at my LCS one time and I had to find something to push me over the minimum debit card purchase amount.

I'm sorry but on the list of things I care about, properly pronouncing the name of foreign chocolates places very low.

Did it occur to you that people who don't watch dubbed anime are doing so because dubs usually have to worst voice actors and arbitrary changes to the plot and not because they think Japanese is a superior language?

You're a cocksucker. You probably call the town of La Jolla "Lah Joe-la" and Des Moines "Dez Moynz" because you 'Murrkah fuckers can't be bothered to pronounce non-Murrkin wurdz right.

Come back when candy has the same social and cultural importance that major cities do.

This. It's like inserting needles into your ears with most of them.

Pocky is okay, I guess. I liked it when I was a weeaboo but lost interest.

Koala's march, however, I will eat until I die. Same with kasugai gummies. Weeaboo food that is actually delicious.
