How do I add some variety to instant Ramen, /ck/? I've already tried hot sauce and chunks of meat.

I don't have the image for the top ramen omelet that's posted all over the mothership's /ck/, but don't try it. It's horrible.

Try using a better broth, adding splashes of soy sauce and vinegar. Use different garnish - fish cake or krab, vegetables, hard-boiled, poached, or fried egg, roasted seaweed, those frozen bags of carrots and peas, green onions, tofu cubes, etc. Eat it without the full broth in just a light dressing or a bit of melted butter and cheese, serve a shrimp stir-fry on top, eat it dry and crunchy like chips with the sauce packet sprinkled on top, etc.

I like using paprika or seasoning salt on mine.

I cook the noodles most of the way through, then fry them up with some garlic and onion. I tend not to use the whole spice packet when I do this, but that's just me.
