/ck/ eat your soup
don't tell me what to do you're not even my real mom
Num, and now you eat some seafood chowder
I have a friend who refuses to eat soup of any kind. That's right, he will not eat soup and hasn't eaten soup since he was a small child. When he was 8 his parents made him sit at the dinner table until he ate his soup, according to his mother he sat there until well after midnight. He drinks hot tea, hot cocoa and will eat pasta (entirely too much goddamn pasta) but he will not eat soup. At all. EVER! It's completely fucking ridiculous.
Look at this shit. This soup is the best soup ever. All other soups are weaksauce.
>>4713I'm not a soup fan either; its a texture thing. I can deal with really thick stuff like chili or stuff that's mostly water, but stuff in-between is just not that pleasant for me.
>>4713I will eat soup, but I refuse to treat it as a full meal. Having a really low fluid treshold, eating more than a tiny appetizer bowl will make my guts churn. Your friend might have the same problem. People don't seem to know that different bodies need different amounts of water to work right.
>>4716>>4719 No, you misunderstand. He won't eat soup, stew, bisque, chowder, broth or chili or anything like that. At all. EVER. No borscht, no gazspacho, no cream-of-whatever, NOTHING. He's a freak.
I don't now what you guys are talking about, but I fucking love soup. It's so comforting.
>>4831Enjoy feeling bloated.
>>4627 thats wild long grain rice soup that and chili's potato soup are the best soups ever
I'm Boston, trapped at work with not much to do. I would like nothing more than to have a nice bowl of posole when I get home. Except that I don't have any at my house and I dunno of the storm is gonna allow me to go get some.;_;
>>4844 I mean I'm IN Boston. I also have a migraine.
