My grandma grew these herself. She always had dozens of these in the house. I did not have a single article of clothing that was not eventually covered in red stains.

Best Fruit. I eat them every year at Rosh Hashana. Other times too, but especially then,

Lemme guess, in the Middle East it's called Bombegranate/

That's silly. They aren't allowed to eat anything fun in the middle east.

Suddenly I'm hearing/seeing them 20 times a day

Fun fact: Is thought to be the forbidden fruit the bible mentioned.

Also there are 613 seeds in each pomegranate, just as there are 613 commandments in the Torah.

>there are 613 seeds in each pomegranate, just as there are 613 commandments in the Torah

Yes. That would be why us Jews eat them on the High Holy Days.
>> No. 4706
These and whatever is made from them tastes pretty terrible.
>> No. 4707
I love these. Delicious, and they keep better than most fruits I can think of. The rind will get dry and leathery, yet the arils within remain perfectly juicy. Of course it's seldom they're around that long without being eaten.

I really should have these more. The chocolate-covered pomegranate seeds I had once were DELICIOUS AND ADDICTING.
>> No. 4763

how would i cope

Isn't this the thing that if you eat it you become Hades' bitch for seven years or something?
>> No. 4766
>>4763
They are every bit as delicious as they are pretty, but make sure to only eat a properly ripe one, and preferably when they're in season.
>> No. 4768

Persephone ate 7 seeds from a pomegranate and became Hades' bitch for 7 months of the year, yeah. But only because it was grown in the underworld.
