Guys seem to think all the good girls are lesbian. The lesbians know this is not accurate.

>>382267
It's not that they're not attractive, they're creepy and/or twice as old as her. She and I are still in that age where guys our age are like, "So, you're the only woman that'll talk to me. When are we having sex?"

>>382266
I might have to. I trust her enough to know she won't cheat, but we barely talk anymore, I rarely see her, and she seems tired and annoyed when I do.

Pretending to be gay or whatever just so guys won't hit on you seems stupid. I sincerely doubt that's her intention. Maybe you should talk to her about it or something, find out what's really going on. I don't really think anyone is going to go through all that trouble to avoid the opposite sex.

The reason I questioned it is because there have been times when she said she wasn't really into girls at all, and sometimes when she's said she was bi. I prefer guys too, but I get along with girls better personality-wise, and she's been really good with actually letting the relationship progress naturally. Some of my ex-boyfriends just wanted to jump straight into sex, and weren't interested in me unless sex was potentially involved. I'm going to stay with her and see how this rides out.

If you consider that stunning you need to get out of the suburbs once in awhile.
Half the population of the planet (3.3 billion) is statistically below 100 IQ, that's barely enough to know how to do high school math. Of the remaining half that can understand it, how many even give enough of a shit about climate change to read a single journal article on it?

I bet you can take every single person on the planet who both cares about and understands global warming, and put them on one of these:
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2175222/Iceberg-twice-size-Manhattan-breaks-away-Greenlands-largest-glacier.html
The human race will be fully carbon neutral long before Average Joe can see obvious effects of it with his own eyes. Panicking laymen with doom and gloom predictions is beyond pointless.

So don't be surprised or shocked anymore, and stop expecting all your friends to be smart or well informed.

Consider this little factoid, if you really want to blow your socks off: the vast majority of the planet still considers homosexuality a mental illness illegal in 76 countries and suppressed heavily in 83 others. Can't blame that one on IQ.

Yeah yeah I know all that, I have friends who dropped out of school when they were 12, I guess I'd just always considered global warming like...really blatant fact? I guess that is kind of a sheltered view to take but I've seriously never met anyone who wouldn't acknowledge it, even the super religious right-wingers who are generally ignorant about things like that accepted it as a "sign of the end-times."
And this was a pretty educated guy who should by all means know better.

I wish it was something badass. I was walking my aunt's stupid dog and dropped my bracelet, and when I bent down to pick it up she spotted another dog and tried to attack. Weird angle + weird hold on the lead (to pick up my bracelet) + large dog throwing herself full force at something = lead got caught up around my hand, wrenched my arm so hard I thought I had dislocated my shoulder. To make it worse it was an extending lead so she really manged to get some momentum going first, but amazingly enough I managed to stay on my feet - barely. My shoulder and elbow are really stiff and my wrist and fingers are swollen, and I pulled the muscles in my forearm and back. It's not exceptionally sore unless I do certain actions but it's really weak and sort of useless. I use that hand for almost everything, it's a very bizarre sensation having almost no power in it suddenly. It should be fine soon though, no tears or anything.

One of the worst things about having a relaxed office environment and work schedule is that I can putz around at work too much and also take off when I feel like it. And I've love to just leave right now because I have zero inclination to live today, but if I give into that every time it happens I'll wind up only putting in half the hours I need to every period.

And all I would do is just go home and play TF2 half-heartedly for hours. It's not even continuously fun anymore (I'll have a few moments of fun here and there), it's just the "default" for what I do when I'm not at work.

Oh boy I do love having waves of depression.

Work has been great. Just visited my parents for a week, and all is well on that end.

Money stuff? Not so much. All of my big bills hit in June and July, because I moved to CO during the summer. A three weekends ago, my water heater lost structural integrity and I had to get a new one. Two weekends before that, I had to get my car fixed and start the stressful process of trying to find a new car, because the one I'm driving now is 14 years old. I came home from the vacation to find that my cat's other eye is flaring up a bit and is off-and-on kinda weepy/boogery.

I like my life, and I was hoping it was getting a bit better, but Life has apparently decided to stab me in the money bag this year.

Well that's what happens when you goad people who are threatening suicide on the internet (yes, everyone on Party All The Time saw the whole blow-up as it happened).

Also hating Guy Gardner didn't help your case either.

But part of growing up is making bad decisions and learning from them, I reckon.
