I do my nails, my friends' nails and my family's too. I've been thinking about maybe trying to make some money from it one day. IMO, of all the polishes I've tried (ie a LOT), Barry M is probably my favourite by quite a bit. It comes in 4578965432 colours and effects, and it gives such lovely coverage/durability despite the fact it's usually less than £3 per bottle. Their new fruit-themed "Gelly" gel range was so gorgeous I bought the whole set at once (excluding lychee and pomegranate).

I wish I could wear nailpolish but I have a very bad nail-picking habit that I have never been able to break, and hangnails that never go away no matter how much moisturizer I use. When I try nailpolish I just pick at that instead of the hangnails, which is actually probably better, but it looks worse and isn't as... I don't know, calming as fucking with the actual nail?

How do I break this?

I immediately tried out the eyeliner and HOLY GOOD GODDAMN. It goes on like butter, no drag marks, insane pigmentation, etc. If I only had more money so I could buy Urban Decay all the time and not just when there's sales. :(
I find that makeup quality is kind of like alcohol quality. It's easy to find decent stuff for cheap, but when it's expensive, it's often RIDICULOUSLY GOOD.

My polish is mostly cheap drugstore stuff, but I have two bottles from A England (in Tristam and Avalon) that are the pride of my collection. I used to buy Sinful Colors because it's $1.99, but the quality is so all over the place. Pumpkin Spice is great, though. I can't wait for autumn so I can wear it again.
If anyone's looking for a black/white splatterpaint top coat that doesn't cost infinity money, Claire's has one. It's serviceable.

How often have you painted your nails? I had a rotten nail biting habit until about two years ago, when I started painting my nails regularly. ANYWAY. Anyone have any good recommendations for under-eye concealer? I have job interviews coming up, and I'm so goddamn pale I'm having trouble finding something that looks natural and doesn't cost upwards of $30. I got some pretty substantial dark/purple circles to cover up.

For purple circles, you'll want something yellow-tinted. I'm afraid I don't use concealer myself atm but I like YSL's touche eclat. It's light and looks good (they even have a shade pale enough for me) although that is generally pretty pricey. If you wanted a mega cheap option you could try mixing a little bit of yellow with your regular foundation if you use any? I have no idea how well that would work, but it could be worth a try.
