I can't seem to find any more of my art that hasn't already been posted on /jam/ already.

NO WAIT I FOUND ONE REALLY ANCIENT PIECE OF ART. Man, this is like, four years old? Something like that. Back when I still did mostly traditional. Anyways, for a short time I was under the belief that Oda will troll us with this as the conclusion to One Piece. Literally, with this as a cliffhanger.

I'll stop here for tonight and continue my job tomorrow.

Guess which class I end up doing for each character until I get to it.

HAH. Just managed to squeeze this one out.

My logic here is: Chopper and Zoro have a unique relationship among the Strawhats in that both tend to protect each other, with Zoro often being Chopper's first person to go to in case he accidentally broke something, and Chopper often going through great lengths to ensure that Zoro's well taken care of.

Zoro also has arguably the most stamina out of the group, having each fight having him lose an exponential amount of blood every time he decides it's bandanna time. And just like Heavy, Zoro takes great pride in his named weapons, and has talked to them on occasion.

Usopp's job and tendency to use very strange backup weapons (nail and chalkboard comes to mind) makes his choice fairly obvious. I made Robin this way because like a Pyro, she's a bit of an enigma to the rest of the crew for much of her time spent with them, and is fairly quiet. The atmosphere of fighting her and a Pyro is also similar, in that people tend to want to run out of their line of sight, but if taken by surprise, it's generally too late to run away.

Sanji's works somewhat on an aesthetic level, to be sure, but other than that, the only thing the two have in common would likely be their foul temperament and (stretching it here), their love of working with chemical compounds. Sanji enjoys creating delicacies, and has a keen eye for it, while Demoman, being the only class who uses them, likely builds them himself, or at least knows well enough how to, and the risks of concocting them require him to have a steady hand and acute senses to work in a chemical lab.

I won't explain Franky's, but I will apologize for the terrible Sunny Sentry.

Brook's is pretty silly, but jumping reasons aside, the two are notoriously foul by nature, and tend to annoy the rest of the group.

Nami WAS a backstabbing traitor, but she came back, so it's all good. Also like the Spy, I imagine that one of the biggest reasons for her staying is because THINK OF THE MONEY SHE COULD END UP WITH.

Luffy's is, well, the bread and butter of the team. Without a Soldier in your team, Team Fortress doesn't hold itself together as well. The crew doesn't necessarily need him, but they wouldn't be well off if he left.

Also, you are now imagining Luffy explaining The Art of War just like the Soldier to Usopp.

I don't ACTUALLY know what the dance looks like because I never got past the Namek Saga, so have them brofisting at the end. I imagine they'd never go through with it anyways because they'll undoubtedly turn into a moss-headed dartboard brow, and nobody finds that attractive.

I have this horrible obsession not with making OCs, but with trying to work them in such a way that they never interact with the main story. It used to be a ton of fun with most other series I enjoy, up until Oda came along and has thus far ruined every OC I've created since I first began reading the series in '03. This was my personal favorite who got ruined by reintroducing Hacchan into the main story. He's just a giant squid man with a measly pathetic pirate crew that creates some havoc on a winter island somewhere on the first half of the Grand Line.

One of the reasons I make OCs for this series is because I wonder "What would a Fish-man look like if he was based on such and such species and it quickly snowballs into a specific one with a personality and oh god now he's got a crew um wow how about we just go back to making cool Fish-man designs LATHER RINSE REPEAT"

though I lack any artistic or writing talent and thus cannot bring my ideas to life. Also I have trouble in trying to set my ideas in places that Oda hasn't given any information on (like stories set in the other Blues), I'd do something and then read in the next 50 chapters I had done something terribly wrong.
